Situated directly on the creek, the house is just a short walk from the Atlantic Coast beach, so it enjoys magnificent views from all six bedrooms, and from the deep covered porches on each level. The backyard boasts a private three-season in-ground heated pool and luxurious poolside lounging; a gas grill and outdoor shower help make the living easy. Indoors, three expansive master suites offer flexibility in accommodating large groups. The house is fitted with wireless internet, and every bedroom has a flat-screen tv, efficient, fully equipped kitchen with granite counter tops is supplemented by a convenient butler's pantry, and two full-sized washer/dryer sets make it easy to keep up with a waterfront lifestyle. This beautifully maintained property, with its private pier and floating dock that accommodates boats up to 50 feet, is mere minutes from Marshwalk, in Murrells Inlet, with its range of waterfront dining options in the historic fishing village. Also close by are the Pier at Garden City and Marlin Quay Marina, offering fishing, charters, cruises, and other vacation pastimes.

Best of both worlds!

We chose Rock Creek for its proximity to the beach and the private pool, but fell in love with the marsh views and wildlife. This property was the perfect size for our extended family vacation, with many seating options for meals and decks/balconies for quiet enjoyment of the beautiful setting. The two laundry facilities were so convenient for our large group, and the kitchen was also well equipped to meet the needs of a group our size. Just a quick walk to the gorgeous, uncrowded beach, and a short drive to Huntington Beach State Park and Brookgreen Gardens - both are not to be missed! We’d love to come back!

Great place for multiple families, lots of space! The heated pool was great, especially on the cooler week we were there.There was an issue with a cloudy pool,, but solved very quickly by the property owner. We hope to be back someday!

Family Trip

The house is set up nicely for a large group. The pool in the backyard is great for relaxing. We took advantage of the grill for a couple of dinner cookouts. The pier is fun to fish or crab off of. The multiple back decks provide perfect views of the sunsets over the marsh. There are public access points to the ocean beach in easy walking distance of the house.

Beautiful place with beautiful view. But.

Loved this place but they need to get rid of rift raft somehow. Our truck and car had items stolen out of it!!!!

Wonderful "home" for a family vacation

Our stay at Creek Rock was so enjoyable. On arrival, we had a small communication problem as to whom we should call if we had questions. Once we understood to contact the owner (not the realty company where we paid for our linens who told us at check-in to contact them if we had issues), everything went very smoothly. The pool heater was broken---bummer to our group--but the owners had it repaired by Tuesday. It worked amazingly well! Everyone LOVED fishing off the dock. It was great to lounge by the pool and watch some fish as others swam! The house fit our needs perfectly. The six adults enjoyed the three master bedrooms. I was a bit disappointed in the "6th bedroom", as it was a raised bed and a very small room, but the grandchildren loved it! The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, silverware, etc. There were a few condiments in the cabinet as well as dishwashing liquid. Each bath had a bottle of liquid Soft Soap and plenty of toilet tissue. The TV's were too smart for us, but we did have a granddaughter who wasn't technologically challenged who was able to educate us. There were also some pool toys in the garage. The outside shower was also handy. The grill in the yard was not able to be used, but, although we MIGHT have used it, we usually like to eat out at night. The owner said they were going to get a new grill when they came there in a few weeks. The walk to the beach wasn't bad at all. You could see the ocean from the kitchen window, the front porch and the third floor balcony. The inlet views were great as well. We truly enjoyed our visit to Creek Rock and appreciated the owners taking care of the pool heater for us. Hopefully, we will be able to return if everyone's schedule "fits" again in the future.

Great Place

Took a golf trip with 8 guys. Reasonable price. Location was good. House was very clean. Lots of room. Awesome view from the back deck. Nice pool. Would definitely do it all over again.
