Nestled in a deep canyon on 6 acres of land, nearby serene Lake Arrowhead – you will find Southern California’s secret gem: the Castle In the Forest. Surrounded by towering conifer pine and Japanese dogwood trees, this secluded 9,000 square foot chateau provides an Intimate setting for retreats, relaxing private weekends. From the moment you descend its driveway – you and your guests will be enveloped in this magnificent private estate.

Once inside the castle, you will marvel at its cathedral ceilings, glittering chandeliers, fireplaces, floor to ceiling windows (with forest views) and custom-made, gothic architectural features. Situated on multiple levels (Including a tower wing)· The Castle has several dozen rooms, including seven luxurious suites, an acoustically perfect grand ballroom with balcony, custom kitchen, a formal dining room and several salons – plus multiple themed rooms: study, game room, and even a Bavarian-style pub with a sunken bar. Finally, multiple lower and upper terraces complete this spectacular edifice.

About an hour from anywhere in Los Angeles and the South Bay, Castle in the Forest is a truly unique and exclusive getaway for you and your guests. Only 7 minutes away from Lake Arrowhead Village shopping center.

7 cars are allowed on long driveway and no street parking/ loading or unloading and or drop offs are allowed. Trash must be taken away by guest upon check out.

Surveillance cameras are located on the exterior of the home for the safety and security of the property, and to ensure compliance with local rental regulations. The cameras are located on the driveways, side patios, back yard and entry landings. Noise monitoring (decibel) software is also installed inside the home and on side patios and backyard to comply with local regulations regarding excessive volume. A rental agreement disclosing all rules must be signed by guest before check-in.

Birthday in the forest

Th whole family had a wonderful time. There is room for 7 cars but back to back. You will have to move cars to let others out. Be prepared for all the stairs it is a castle after all.

It was magical

I recently stayed in this magical castle with my family to celebrate new years and it was the most amazing stay we’ve ever had. It was perfect from all ways. The house was huge and everyone had their own amazing room with a view to the backyard trees with snow. The house was very clean before check in. Our kids really enjoyed the backyard snow with the private hills where they spent all their time sledding on the snow and making snow mans. The hosts were very nice and answered all our questions and even gave us a tour before checking in. Thank you for this amazing house and we hope to see you again next year.

Worth the expense, create truly unforgettable experience at this majestic castle in the forest

The property is unlike any other. Better than any hotel could ever wish to be and more impressive than any vacation rental I have come across. The attention to detail is unmatched. One of my main concerns going into it would be the cleanliness of such a large property. The owner and staff do such an incredible job of cleaning this home that it feels fresh and pristine upon checkin. Thats made even more impressive given the wet and snowy outdoors. This is a commitment and big expense, but its worth it if you can afford it. You wont' regret booking this rental.

Remarkable place!

We had a great weekend at the Castle for my 34th birthday weekend. The property is second-to-none and is definitely an experience to behold. Arsine and Cozette made the whole experience streamline and professional, I can't thank them enough for being so kind and always on-call. From the amenities to the space, and from the property to the staff, this must be one of the best rental properties I have ever visited.

It's a Castle in the Forest

Amazing trip with team that earned it! It's an awe inspiring masterpiece of a property. Gorgeous neighborhood. Wonderful communication with Arsine - she accommodated all our questions and various arrival times. quick texts and calls.. Not great service inside the castle, but wifi worked great. Were most worried about the sound requirements of the neighborhood, but it seems like, just don't play music outside (ever) and dont have long group chats outside at night and you're good. The double paned windows and thick walls and doors allowed for us to really experience the great family room sound system securely.. We definitely cranked music inside and had a nice tv movie night. The kitchen was awesome. Played table hockey on the granite island.. Wished there were some more utensils to use and could've hoped for more/better pots pans. Fridge was amazing. There's 2 dishwashers. The range was great. Just an overall awesome vide in the place. Modeled after the architects MIT Campus Chapel, the Castle is just an epic masterpiece. We ordered a masseuse for a day - posted up in the master bd upstairs.. Just gorgeous setting. Luxurious and quite a treat - this worked amazing as a destination trip for top performers.. Had up to 18 over for two nights. It was a blast and seriously one of a kind. Bummed that the theatre room was unusable tbh. That's about the only thing that held any sort of remorse. The games, the space, the quality, the views, etc - just a lovely time. Thank you :)

Amazing castle

This property was amazingly beautiful from the moment we pulled into the driveway. It was perfect for our group of 17 people with plenty of space to sleep and multiple areas of the house to spend time in. Every room was beautiful and clean. It snowed prior to our stay and the driveway was plowed. They left sleds for us to use in the backyard which was a nice touch. Our favorite room was the Pub on the ground floor, and they also had a game room with a ping pong and foosball table. The host was so great during the check in process and gave us a tour of the whole house, and they were easy to reach through vrbo if we had any questions. I am already planning on coming back for a family trip!! Loved this place.

There's no better place near LA

We had 5 families, each with 2 kids (5 and 2 years), for a total of 20 people stay at the Castle in the Sky. We couldn't believe how lucky we got that the weekend we were hoping for was available. The Castle in the Sky is amazing, as you can very clearly tell by the pictures. There's no other place like it near Los Angeles. It's truly a breathtaking properly that's just as nice on the outside as it is on the inside. It doesn't have a castle-y feeling on the inside, however. Instead, it has a very modern, ultra-luxury, home-like feel to it. Regarding the space, over 9000sq feet at your disposal, with 7 beds and baths?? Every family slept very comfortably. Plenty of room for all of us. Bedding was very nice. Great that every room has its own attached bathroom. It's so big that you won't even know where your friends or kids are at. They'll just disappear for a couple of hours and then eventually roll back into the kitchen looking for a snack. Speaking of the kitchen, it is the stuff of dreams. So big that 20 people can huddle around and there's still plenty of space. Massive Viking refrigerators and range. Would've been super fun to cook on, except we just didn't have the time. The great thing is that there's really good pizza and mexican restaurants nearby too, just a few minutes away. As they say in Jurassic Park, "We spared no expense." The Castle is way too clean for a property this big. I'm talking spotless. Whoever took the time to clean after each guest, possibly a small army of people, left no pillow unturned. The entire experience, from asking questions, booking the place, getting confirmation, signing the contract, checking in/out was very smooth. Communication was very fast and the host would respond within a few hours with any questions. Did I mention just how nice the property is?? So nice that my friends asked me to take some photos of their families in the master bedroom (corner window by the sofa) and the courtyard area and the photos look like we're in Downton Abbey. This is a long review for something that should be a relatively simple decision. Treat yourself, it's been a rough year for everyone. You deserve it. The Castle in the Sky is the ultimate experience. Look no further and just do it. Trust me, at the end of the trip, you won't even blink at the cost. That will all be washed away by the incredible experience you've just had.

We stayed at the castle for the weekend to celebrate my sons 10th birthday with family. Throughout the planning Arsine was extremely helpful and provided prompt responses to all my questions and inquires. Property is very beautiful, clean and each room had a special spot to take beautiful pictures with a view of the forest. Me and my family will definitely revisit. Enchanted castle
