The lodging of Dauga welcomes you, in an exceptional site, of greenery and calm, 500 meters from the city center of Bazas.
At the top of a hill, facing the town of Bazas, the gîte benefits from a breathtaking view of the cathedral and the ramparts.
You will be accommodated in a comfortable, charming and tasteful character house, in the heart of a 15,000 m2 garden with private terrace located to the south.
The cottage is located in a wing of the house, formerly priory of Saint Vivien, renovated.
Capacity: 2 bedrooms, 6 to 9 people
Equipment: Washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, oven, microwave, television, wifi, garden furniture, parasol, sun loungers, barbecue, cot, swing, fireplace.

Séjour sauvé par les personnes en charge de l'accueil
Heureusement que les personnes qui nous ont accueillis sont adorables et très serviables.
Installations vétustes. Dommage de laisser tomber une si belle maison en décrépitude.
Particulièrement désagréable voire inadmissible de recevoir, le samedi précédant le lundi de notre arrivée, un appel téléphonique faisant état d'une difficulté dans la fourniture d'eau et nous proposant comme seule solution un remboursement du séjour. Charge à nous de nous débrouiller pour trouver un autre hébergement (en 48h !).
Heureusement que les personnes sur place se sont démenées pendant 2 jours pour bricoler l'installation et sauver notre séjour.

Françoise,
A nouveau, je suis sincèrement navrée de la situation mentionnée. Le problème de fourniture d'eau était imprévisible et totalement indépendant de notre volonté, lié à la sécheresse en juillet et aux incendies. Je vous ai prévenu au plus tôt après avoir eu connaissance du problème, soit le samedi matin. Nous avons cherché des solutions, recherche d'un nouvel hébergement pour vous, proposition d'annulation, et réparation au plus vite. Au final, grâce aux personnes présentes comme vous le dites vous même, la situation a été gérée et vous avez eu de l'eau.
Je comprends parfaitement les désagréments et le stress que cela vous a causé, alors que vous prépariez un mariage, croyez bien que je le déplore et que ce n'est pas de gaité de cœur que j'ai du annuler l'ensemble de la saison. Cette situation désagréable ne justifie cependant pas de qualifier la maison d'état de "décrépitude".
Je retiens toutefois que votre séjour a pu se dérouler comme prévu au final, et je m'en félicite.

Au calme et à deux pas du centre ville, avec une très belle vue sur l’arrière de la cathédrale.

Séjour au gite Dauga à Bazas
Séjour très agréable au sein d'un gite qui convient à nos attentes à savoir l'emplacement, l'accueil la disponibilité de la famille Babin, la propreté du gite et l'entretien extérieur de la propriété.
Bazas est un lieu que nous connaissons très bien mais que nous avons plaisir à retrouver.
Merci pour les travaux qui ont été réalisés par rapport à 2017.

propriété bien située et au calme très propre extérieure comme intérieure
Quelques remarques qui ne remettent pas en cause mon appréciation car j'ai passé un excellent séjour :
Manque de WIFI qui aurait été le bienvenu en raison du temps qui a été très médiocre.
Bien préciser qu'il n'y a pas de couloir qui desserre les chambres en haut (obligation de passer d'une chambre dans l'autre, cela peut être gênant).
A revoir peut - être les plaques de gaz, ainsi que les fermetures extérieures (portes et volets)
En dehors de cela j'ai été très bien accueillie par Mme Babin et son conjoint et j'ai apprécié leur proximité.

Bien situé,au calme,Belle vue sur la cathédrale. Idéal pour visiter la région
Maison ancienne bien située sur Bazas,au calme,à 10mn à pied du charmant centre ville.La maison est grande,bien équipée avec une terrasse agréable. Ambiance rétro qui rappellera l'enfance à des quinquas.
De nombreux sites intéressants à visiter dans un environnement proche.

Une semaine agréable pour toute la famille
Semaine de vacances bien remplie et en même temps très reposante dans ce prieuré avec un grand jardin comprenant une grande bambouseraie et avec une vue imprenable sur la cathédrale de Bazas. Point de départ parfait pour de multiples activités pour tous les âges (visite de beaux villages entourés de vignes, de châteaux, de Bordeaux ou encore accrobranche et autres activités pour les enfants).

Très chouette séjour
Nous avons beaucoup apprécié les quelques jours passés dans cette maison parfaitement équipée, très au calme. Le jardin est très agréable, la vue sur le village magnifique. Vous trouverez tout au marché du village le week-end. Les pistes cyclables alentours sont nombreuses.
