Beautiful views of West Lake Okoboji! The Olivia Cottage is a 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom cottage located in the heart of Okoboji. 5 minutes to the public beach, The Emporium, The Green Space, Arnolds Park, and downtown bars and restaurants. Bedroom one has one queen bed, twin bunk bed, and a makeup counter with mirror and blow dryer. Bedroom two has one queen bed and closet area. Bedroom three has a queen bed a closet and makeup counter. The living room has one queen sofa sleeper and an arm chair. The cottage has A/C in all bedrooms. The cottage also has a kitchen with full size fridge, two burner hot plate, microwave, griddle, toaster, outdoor gas grill, coffee maker, pots and pans and dishes/utensils, paper towels, garbage bags, dish soap and dish rags all provided. Shower towels and linens are also provided. Large deck with chairs overlooking West Lake. Bathroom with toilet, sink, shower, and mirror. We are located in all the action just across the street from public dock access to West Lake Okoboji and fun things to do all within walking distance.

Disappointed

We weren't able to park near the cabin when we got there Friday night. The light was burned out for the outside light. There were bugs in the bathroom. The sheets on the beds looked like they hadn't been changed in months. It was a disappointment for what was an emotional weekend for our family. Our mom had been a vendor at the Clay County Fair for over 10 years and had passed away at Christmas. This was our final time coming to the fair and was already an emotional time, this didn't help

Great Location

The location is great! The cabin itself was older and has a few issues, but it was great for a what we needed. The Internet wouldn't connect to the tv and there is no cable or satellite, so essentially you couldn't watch any television. The shower water pressure was VERY low, so it was hard to rinse after you washed. Overall, it's a great central location for the Arnold's Parks area.

My vaca stay

The cottage is overall good. Great location. Nice deck and grill. The beds are good. Really the only downside of the place is the bathroom. I have never seen a sink that tiny. The shower has such poor water pressure that it forever to rinse my hair.
