About this property

Beautiful 1200 sq feet, three bedroom Cottage at LaCasa resort gated community. **Brand new AC unit just installed in 2023** One bedroom with a queen bed and its own bathroom on the entrance level, two bedrooms- one with a queen bed and a deck attached , and another with two sets of twin bunk beds**(note:the TOP BUNKS are for CHILDREN ONLY)**. This cottage has four amazing decks to enjoy the Kelowna weather on. Sunshine in the morning on the back upper or lower decks with a view of lake Okanagan, and a beautiful sunset view on the front upper and lower level decks!

The cottage is 30 minutes to Kelowna and 30 minutes to vernon.

Fully furnished , AC , WIFI, Cable . Boat launch. Comes stocked with body wash, and shampoo if you need it.

The cottage is a two minute walk from the upper level pool, that has plenty of seating and a hot tub. Across the street is a forest great for nature walks. There is ATV and dirt bike access just outside the main entrance of LaCasa. The middle level has a pool, two hot tubs, a park, mini golf (equipment is all there), beach volley ball , two tennis courts, a general store which has a restaurant and cafe, yes they sell alcohol there. The lower level has beach access, although it is a bit rocky, for when you want to take a swim in the lake or put your boat in the water.

Fintry is a five minute drive away, it also has a nice beach and a boat launch.

Great, relaxing vacation.

This location is at the top of La Casa and offers great views. We like the quieter area with good walking options. The pool and hot tub, tennis courts, beach, etc are all in great shape. The rental fit 3 couples nicely. Great place to stay with family!

Basic cottage rental but needs updating

This cottage in La Casa was nice but at first entry, it was not like how it was shown on the website. It looked a lot bigger in pics, had different furniture, had 2 full bunk beds shown (only 1.5 bunks when we got there, I’m thinking someone must have broke one). I don’t feel like this house was fully stocked; there were no lids for any pots, no type of food storage (Syran wrap/tinfoil/etc), no spare toilet paper, the silverware was tiny, etc. Ran out of dishwasher tabs. The outdoor furniture was quite old and torn and stained (should be replaced), deck boards were loose and could use a staining, glass on the deck railing was incredibly dirty and should have been cleaned prior to our arrival. The A/C was decent upstairs but it was either freezing downstairs or extremely hot, wasn’t a great balance. I do think this rental is very basic and in need of some updating and some major interior decorating help. The host was wonderful at communicating back to me every time I reached out. Instructions for check in and gate code were very clear and accurate. Overall it was a decent property, but for what we paid, I guess I expected more. We still had a wonderful time and spent the majority of it outside. The resort itself is wonderful, pools, beach, volleyball courts, ice cream store, etc was really great. I don’t recommend buying any groceries at the store though, it’s extremely expensive.
