Better even than the pictures
I expected the place to be nice based on the pictures, but then we walked in the building and the seriously beaten hallway and thought "oh oh!". Then we opened the door to our unit and the feeling was "ahhhhhh. . .lovely!" The place is immaculate, and beautifully appointed. Everything in there is nice quality which is especially evident (to me as an avid cook) in their kitchen stuff. It's not top of the line of course (nor should it be) but it's good stuff. The knives are plentiful and sharp, the cookware is nice, the plates and cutlery matches and is beautiful. You get the picture, right? The same is true for other things in the unit, such as the nice ski racks inside the unit and the artwork on the walls. Oh and my husband - admittedly an amazing skier - made it from the top of Dave's to *inside* the unit in less than 15 minutes. Love a condo that's THAT close!
I also want to give a shout out to 101GreatEscapes. We were greeted warmly and like old friends by Chris and thereafter were able to text and call with questions and requests, even suggestion requests for take out! Every time we had terrific and immediate replies.
The only one thing I didn't love was the detergent the linen company uses - way, WAY to perfumed. The sheets gave me a headache (but I'm more sensitive than your average person, my husband was fine). The lovely folks at 101 grabbed a set of sheets and laundered them in just water to get rid of the smell and voila! life was true perfection.
