Great barn and perfect for home base to explore the area

Phyllis was a great host with a great property. She welcomed us "City Folk" with open arms and gave us a run down on local restaurants and things to see. Will definitely be visiting again.

Cozy, clean, rural setting.

We had a great time. Everything was clean and new. Kitchen had everything we needed. State Parks, lakes and rivers nearby. Grocery and restaurants 10-20 minutes away. Nice property.

What a cute place! Phyllis was great to work with and the place was more than perfect for us to get away and unwind. Highly recommend!!!

Lake weekend

We had an excellent stay at the red barn. Everything was clean and comfortable. The unit had a nice picnic table and grill overlooking the yard. We took advantage of great star viewing at night, and the short drive into the land between the lakes. Very well stocked kitchen and plenty of towels were available. Myself, my husband and our two friends were very comfortable, and glad we chose to stay here. Phyllis left a bottle of wine and a cake for us, which was much appreciated after the long drive and a great start to the weekend. Very peaceful setting!

Moved to Eddyville in December 2011. We had originally come from Houston where my husband Bob retired from Medical Sales and I recently retired from Continental Airlines as a 30 year Flight Attendant.

Why they chose this property

We want Lake living and also to be close to family.

What makes this property unique

We built our Waterfront home on Lake Barkley and moved here late 2011. This is such a beautiful, peaceful and scenic area. Every morning I sit on our screened-in porch with Anna and Mikie our 2 rescues, drink my coffee and love watching the sunrises across the water where it water sparkles like diamonds. LOVE IT!
