We are located in Franche-Comté, in Haut-Doubs at the Swiss border at 950 meters above sea level (near Neuchâtel and Yverdon les Bains) and 7km from the famous Château de Joux.
We are near Métabief and 2km from a famous cross-country ski resort in Switzerland (Les Cernets-Verrières): 50km of slopes at 1200m altitude!

We are near a wonderful natural lake for swimming or water sports: Lac de Saint-Point
It is the 3rd lake in France in the heart of the Jura massif (Doubs) for a multi-activity stay (hiking, fishing, rowing, ...)
Take the time to discover the Saut du Doubs through a boat trip.

Cross-country skiing and hiking trails are on site (Les Grandes Traversées du Jura, Cernets-Verrières ski resort 2km from the gîte).

Many visits are also available to you: The Lake Remoray reserve, the Loue valley, the Lison valley and its Devil's bridge, Morteau: the capital of French watchmaking, Métabief and the Mont d'Or ...

We have provided you with everything you need to make you feel at home in this 80 m² gite on the ground floor of the owners' chalet with 700m² of garden and southern exposure, near Pontarlier , Métabief, les Fourgs.
Parking spaces and coated road are reserved for you.

The kitchen :
Fully equipped, oven, extractor, ceramic hob,
microwave, dishwasher, fridge / freezer.
You will find everything you need to feel at home: dishes, stoves, coffee maker and electric kettle, toaster, blender, ...
You will also take advantage of the appliances for a convivial kitchen: raclette, fondue.

The living room :
After a day full of discoveries, what a pleasure to relax in front of a 105cm plasma screen, comfortably installed in your two sofas.
Not enough space to accommodate a passing friend? One of the sofas is convertible and has a very good mattress.

The master bedroom:
A double bed, high quality bedding, 2 bedside tables, a large wardrobe ... everything you need for a relaxing stay.

The second bedroom:
A large bedroom equipped with 3 single beds and their bedside tables as well as 2 large wardrobes to accommodate children, family, friends.
Need more privacy? the bedroom can be split in 2 by simply pulling the curtain.

The bathroom :
Shower, sink, mirror, but also hair dryer, washing machine, vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board ...

The exteriors:
What would a vacation be without barbecues on the terrace? Take advantage of the garden furniture, the shaded terrace, and the 700m² of garden to relax and observe the mountain view. With a little patience, you will see deer and chamois passing by, all to the sound of the bells of the Franche-Comté cows grazing in the fields.

Een fijne en rustige plek met uitzicht op de alm

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad. Het huis was van alle gemakken voorzien, aan alles was gedacht. De eigenaar was heel behulpzaam en attent en hij had vele tips. Een mooie plek om in de directe omgeving wandelingen in de bossen, de bergen of langs watervallen te maken, zowel in Frankrijk als in Zwitserland. Mooie steden zoals Besancon, Neuchâtel en Bern zijn gemakkelijk te bereiken. Het lac st. Point is een mooi nabij gelegen meer om verkoeling te zoeken.

Good for a pleasant stay in two countries at the same time!

Prachtige omgeving, zowel in Frankrijk als in Zwitserland. Mooie ruime ligging. De lichtinval is door het grote balcon boven onze etage wel erg beperkt en de verlichting binnen is niet ideaal. Blijft zeer aan te bevelen voor een zomerse vakantie.

Natur pur!

Trotz des Regenwetters hatten wir schöne Ferien. Wir machten das Beste daraus! Die Wohnung ist gemütlich und sauber. Wir haben viele Radtouren gemacht, und die Umgebung erkundet. Auch waren wir mit dem Auto unterwegs und Wanderung gemacht. Die Natur ist einzigartig, Blumen so weit das Auge reicht und dazu Vogelgezwitscher. Was will man da noch mehr...

Das Ferienhaus liegt in ländlicher Umgebung (Kühe mit Kuhglocke) gleich an der Grenze Frankreich-Schweiz. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und Seen. Innen etwas dunkel, aber sehr gut ausgestattet.

Agréable séjour dans le Haut Doubs

Le Gite : très bien équipé ( il y a même un fer à repasser!!!), des lits confortables, une véritable ambiance de chalet. L'environnement : très calme, pas de vis à vis, vue sur la montagne et les chamois. La région : Pas encore envahie par les touristes, de belles sorties raquettes à faire Le petit plus : la bouteille de vin et le fromage offert à l'arrivée. Conclusion : on reviendra probablement en été pour un autre décor

Chalet très spacieux, lumineux et tres fonctionnel. Tres propre. Par contre, Odeur d'humidité assez forte. Et Un inconvénient à noter : la pluie qui tombe du balcon sur la terrasse. Il n'est donc pas possible d'utiliser la terrasse lorsqu'il pleut! Coté accueil, beaucoup de méfiance des propriétaires.

Le grand air et le calme dans un cocon de verdure

Il existe des lieux que l’on ne voudrait garder que pour soit, avoir notre petit coin de paradis pour pouvoir faire envier nos proches et ce gite en fait partie … Mais ce ne serait pas remercier les charmants propriétaires de ce gite pour leur accueil et toute l’attention portée à notre bien être … Comme nous n’avons pas eu assez de notre semaine de vacances pour pouvoir visiter cette région si mal connue … nous serons obligés de revenir … alors à très bientôt

Très bon séjour

Nous avons passé une agréable semaine dans un gite spacieux, très propre, bien équipé. Rien ne manque. La neige était présente, piste de skis assez proche de la location. Coin idéal pour famille avec enfants bas âge. Nous reviendrons.
