Superb stay

The location, cleanliness, tranquility and lovely patio with a view of the lake and all wildlife, it was an amazing stay, my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed. Jacquline and Patrick were truly wonderful hosts, they couldn’t have been more welcoming, friendly and helpful throughout our 10 night stay. I would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and tranquil break in great surroundings.

Loire Valley peace

Lovely stay in a very well equipped property. The setting was great - overlooking a small lake, my wife really enjoyed the hosts garden. Good location for visiting Orleans and the Loire Valley. Would recommend.

Just wonderful

Fabulous property in a tranquil location. Patrick and Jacqueline our hosts were available to help and offer guidance, with where to go and super restaurants etc. it was everything and more as described in the adverts, have no hesitation in recommending this lovely home, 5star plus, we will be returning.

Delightful Holiday Home

We had a fantastic two weeks in this lovely part of France. The accommodation was spotless and spacious with everything needed for a quiet relaxing holiday. Jacqueline and Patrick were great hosts, recommending (and even booking) restaurants for us and suggesting places to visit. We can’t recommend La Grange highly enough. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

We spent a fantastic week at La Grange. The property is beautifully appointed, spacious and well equipped. The lakeside setting is tranquil and we spent many hours just sitting on the patio taking in the view! A perfect place to relax, the property also is in a good location to explore the pretty villages and beautiful countryside, not to mention the Loire chateaux, in the area. A Carrefour is less than a 5 minute walk away which was extremely handy! Jaqueline and Patrick were wonderful hosts: hospitable, friendly and full of local knowledge. We would definitely come again and cannot recommend La Grange enough.

Beautiful gite in a gorgeous setting

We were made to feel welcome by the most friendly, warm and helpful owners. Nothing was too much when we requested assistance about restaurants and reservations, what and where to go for sightseeing etc The gite is in the most beautiful setting next to lake. It was exceptionally clean and well equipped. This is a gite well worth the visit and highly recommended

Excellent location, total relaxation

Fabulously spacious and well equipped gite. Located directly next to a beautiful lake where we spent hours watching the rich local wildlife! So relaxing! You will never find hosts as welcoming and knowledgeable as Jacqueline and Patrick. Lots to see in this fascinating area of France, mostly just a 30 minute drive from the gite. Another bonus is the Carrefour supermarket just a couple of minute's walk around the corner! We loved our stay and hope to return!

A very spacious, clean, contemporary house on a peaceful pond.

We had a wonderful week exploring the Loire Valley vineyards and the occasional chateau and cathedral. Really loved coming home to the house to relax and enjoy the view over the pond and its abundant wildlife. Jacqueline and Patrick could not have been more welcoming or more helpful. So unusual in Europe to have so much space to breathe. Great private parking and an excellent grocery store a block away. Would love to return!

The most beautiful holiday home

We absolutely loved our stay here and did not want to leave! Upon arrival Jaqueline and Patrick made us feel so welcome. Jacqueline showed us around the house, which has everything you could ever need, plus gave us lots of information about the area, and advised on things to do. I can speak a tiny tiny bit of French, but Jacqueline speaks good English, so we were able to communicate well.It's so relaxing here, whether you're sitting inside looking out over the lake, eating outside or wandering around the lake, you are surrounded by nature, beauty, and peace. It's so easy to relax here and switch off from the outside world, which is just what we needed.We cooked every day rather than eating out, and the kitchen had piece of dinner wear, cutlery and utensil you could ever need. We wouldn't hesitate to stay with Jacqueline and Patrick again, and we can't thank them enough for making our stay so wonderful.

Heerlijk verblijf in prachtig huis

We hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad. Alles is tot in de puntjes verzorgd en de eigenaresse is vriendelijk en zorgzaam. Het huis is heel licht en modern en van alle gemakken voorzien. Dichtbij vele interessante plekken om te bezoeken. Echt een aanrader!

Séjour paisible au bord de l'étang...

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans le gite de Jacqueline et Daniel, au calme, au bord de l'étang privé en compagnie des canards en liberté , nous avons même pu apercevoir de biches , sans compter le héron et les nombreux oiseaux qui peuplent ce petit paradis. L'accueil de nos hôtes fut impeccable, et leurs nombreux conseils , sur la région, son histoire, et ses bonnes adresses ont été très précieux pour notre découverte de ce très bel endroit... Nour recommandons très chaleureusement!!

Sikke en dejlig uge! Vi havde høje forventninger inden vi ankom, men alle forventninger blev indfriet og mere til. Husets beliggenhed med terrasse ud til privat sø, er helt fantastisk. Der er skinnende rent overalt og køkkenet er veludstyret. Værterne er meget gæstfrie og hjælpsomme, samtidig med at de er gode til at respektere vores privatliv. Vi kan på det varmeste anbefale huset. Billederne lyver ikke, det er virkelig så skønt som det ser ud. Vi kommer helt sikkert gerne tilbage.

Der Hammer

Wer rund um Orleans die Loire Schlösser besuchen will und dabei noch in phantastischen Ambiente seine Abende und freie Zeit verbringen will, ist genau hier richtig. Jaquline und Patrick sind tolle Gastgeber, immer da und hilfsbereit und mit vielen guten Tips zu Hand. Abend oder tagsüber an dem Gewässer zu sitzen, die Tiere zu beobachten, dass bringt wirklich Erholung und Ruhe. Eine Woche ist für diesen Ort recht wenig, beim nächsten Mal würden wir Fahrräder mitbringen und einige Tage einfach an der Loire langfahren. Dieser Fluss hat es uns echt angetan. Also noch mal vielen Dank für alles an unsere Gastgeber und auf ein Wiedersehen irgendwann.

1 semaine de sérénité en Sologne

Un gîte propre et bien équipé; une ouverture sur un étang privé nous ont assuré que, beau ou mauvais temps, nous avons quand même pu passer un très bon moment et nous détendre. Jacqueline et Patrick complètent le tableau en étant disponibles, accueillants et discrets tout à la fois. Tous les ingrédients sont réunis ici pour un climat propice aux vacances.
