Private Residence minutes from Montauk Marinas.

Colonial style home situated within walking distance from the infamous Montauk Fishing Capital of the World. Residence is in a quiet residential neighborhood. Price listed is for two guests. One master bedroom plus common space living room accommodates additional sleeping arrangements of two sofas wherein one sleeps two, the other sleeps one. Advertised rate is for 1-2 guests.

There are absolutely no parties hosted or large gatherings (over 5) permitted on the property. Caretaker resides on premises in a separate attached apt in the rear to address any immediate concerns.

This residence will accommodate a total of 5 guests. Surcharge of $75 per person / night over 2 guests with a maximum of 3 additional guests will apply. Walking distance to some of Montauk's Famous restaurants including, West Lake Fishing Lodge, Gosman's Dock, Star Island & Montauk Yacht Clubs, Uihlein's Ski Rentals & Parasailing, Beach and Jetties. I offer discounted weekly and monthly rates upon availability. Message me for details.

Also there is an outside ring doorbell (camera) at the entrance to the house for the security and well being of our guests.

Great house in Montauk

Great house in Montauk in quiet neighborhood minutes from beaches. Plenty of room for family of four with fully stocked kitchen. Plenty of fresh linens and pillows. Owner was super nice and available for any questions.

Perfect for a family getaway

We brought our two kids to explore Montauk and loved our stay. The house is prefect for a small family, even more charming and more spacious than the photos, and the location couldn’t be more perfect. Literally just minutes away from the sights, beaches, nature trails, and town. John was very helpful and prompt with his communication.

Best Montauk Weekend Stay

My two adult children and I spent Labor Day weekend here and were very happy with the accommodations. The house is airy, clean, and spacious. The location is also convenient and close to both the harbor and town. It’s on a quiet residential street with a huge backyard. The owner was very nice and available whenever we needed. Look forward to our next visit.

Short & sweet

John was very accessible and sweet with his communications, looking to make it a great visit for me. The house was clean, comfy, nicely stocked with coffee (!) and located in a nice quiet neighborhood with only songbirds making any sound. Highly recommend!

Solid Montauk getaway

We had a great stay at this comfortable and quiet house for a couple of days. Check-in was a breeze and the central location not far from town was perfect. A friend had told us to bring our bikes and we were glad that we did! This house is in an ideal location to ride along West Lake Drive with easy access to the harbor shops and restaurants and we even did a family bike ride out to the Lighthouse. Being close to Ditch Plains Beach was a plus and biking there was easy and saved parking fees. My husband and I were happy to have an air conditioner in the bedroom as the main room was a bit warm in August, but the multiple fans provided made it definitely suitable for the kids. The beds were clean and spacious making for a great night's sleep. We certainly hope to return!

Great stay while in Montauk for 2 days

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at John’s home. The home is super clean with a large kitchen and dining/living room area. While not on the beach, this home is in a tranquil residential area surrounded by green and within 5 - 10 min short drive to all Montauk attractions incl the beaches and center of town. John was super responsive to my questions and provided us with valuable information regarding the area and where to park. He was also accommodating with allowing us to keep our car parked in the driveway for a few hours past checkout so we could enjoy a final swim at Ditch Plains Beach (which we booked an inexpensive uber to/from due to lack of public parking in that area). Make sure to check out Ditch Plains Beach and the gorgeous Shadmoor Cliffs and “hoodoos” (took some stunning photos there). In terms of local restaurants not far from the property— highly recommend Gosmans, Navy Beach and Sel Rrose. We also shopped at IGA supermarket in town and made an incredible breakfast back at the house. I would definitely recommend John’s home as an alternative to the beach condo rentals or other accommodations in Montauk. Just one suggestion to John that would go a long way to making this an exceptional option, consider taking advantage of the massive backyard with more outdoor furniture and some additional updated furniture in the house. Everything else is perfect!

John is a wonderful host. The home was close to town and beaches. The lovely home sleeps 5. The rates were probably lower than most other places. I highly recommend it.

Peaceful Montauk

This clean and peaceful abode is within walking distance to local marinas and offers an easy drive into town. I stayed with my spouse, yet we could have easily fit 3 more friends comfortably. The kitchen is well equipped with everything necessary for cooking and hosting a dinner or prepping for a day at the beach. A refrigerator with an ice machine - which is everything for cocktail time - and a Keurig with well stocked pods were my favorite perks! Our host was friendly and super informative, making our entry and departure feel first class. I will definitely be booking this listing for all my future visits to Montauk. No need to seek out anywhere else.

First Vacation with our daughter

John was a great host and made it so easy for us as this was our first trip with our newborn daughter. He was very responsive and available at all times with any questions we had. He was extremely accommodating when our travel plans had to be adjusted because of weather issues. Would defiantly recommend staying here!

Great location, quiet neighborhood, very clean house, owner very responsive.

This home has all the amenities you need, including a new outdoor BBQ grill. It is in a great location in a quiet neighborhood yet a few minutes from Gosman's and nearby marinas. The hustle and bustle of town is a quick five minute drive away so it's great to return to a nice quite place. The home is very clean. The homeowner is a pleasure to work with.
