Welcome to your next home away from home ASPEN SUMMIT. This beautiful cabin built in 2018 is nestled on a hilltop surrounded by Aspen and Pine trees just 5 miles from Deadwood.
Aspen Summit sits on 9 SECLUDED acres with one of the most stunning views of the surrounding hills you will find. You won't see multiple cabins from our decks, just incredible views of the beautiful Black Hills. Located in the heart of the northern Black Hills where recreation is abundant. Just a short 10-15 minute drive from your next home away from home you can enjoy Terry Peak, Spearfish Canyon, Boulder Canyon and Lead/Deadwood.

There is taxi service to the property from Deadwood where you'll be sure to enjoy the local nightlife, restaurants and events all year long. In about an hour you can enjoy Mt. Rushmore, Hill City, Keystone, Custer State Park, and the Southern Black Hills.

After enjoying all the local adventures , you'll be happy to come back home to your very own local cabin. You will frequently see wildlife around the cabin and amazing sunrises over the mountain. Enjoy the seasonal stream surrounded by aspen trees along the road to Aspen Summit and view starry skies like you've never seen before all from your very own home away from home.

With 3 bedrooms, you'll have enough room for up to 8 people. The master bedroom has a king log bed, TV and a private bath. There is a queen log bed and TV in the 2nd bedroom and a queen bed plus twin bunk beds in the 3rd bedroom. Everything is on one level, so you will enjoy the convenience for everyone in your group.

Stainless steel appliances accent the rustic kitchen with a cozy fireplace and big screen TV sharing the open living area.

The all wood interior and rustic double covered porches along with the breathtaking views and seclusion will give you the true Black Hills Cabin experience.

We welcome you to your new favorite home away from home, ASPEN SUMMIT!
4WD/AWD needed for winter access.

Peace

My friend and I stayed at this property during peak winter. The fireplace kept the inside cozy, the hot tub helped us relax after snowshoeing, and the snowy views were spectacular. Further, this is the best stocked kitchen of any vacation rental we've been to. We had fun cooking up big meals. We hope to return in the future (when the world is in a healthier and more peaceful place).

Awesome Sunrise!

Great cabin in a great location with awesome sunrises. While there are no cabins visible, there are cleared building sites close by (future cabins). One of them had people camping who were quite noisy into the night with loud ATv's driving by the cabin (also late into the night). This only occurred our last night. First two nights were very quiet.

Great property, amazing views

This is a great place to stay. Would stay there again for sure. Sunrise views are amazing. Very quiet place. Saw a few deer in the mornings and evenings. Like others have said the water does have a different smell. Not the worse thing in the world. Only reason I can not give it 5 stars is because being stocked with 3/4 roll of paper towels and 3 rolls of toilet paper for a week with a family of 6 was no where near enough. I ended up grabbing some in town to get us through our vacation. Other than that it was a fantastic property!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First off, the address given in the pictures is not the actual address. When I mapped it, it showed we were staying over by Terry Peak. The location is actually on the other side of Lead heading toward Central City. Was a little disappointed when we didnt find that out until we actually got there. But, the view was awesome, cabin was nice and clean! Enough room for our trucks and trailers and RZRs to park. Very secluded, and quite!

Nice Cabin

We spend most of out time in the hills outside, exploring, not holed up in a cabin. This rental fit the bill perfectly. A clean, nice place to rest up in the evenings after a fun day of running around. The biggest perk is the pet friendly policy. I get that it adds a bit of uncertainty to the rental owners, but our pups are a part of our family and we don't go anywhere without them. My lab has, without a doubt, caused less mess or damage in rental properties than 90% of toddlers that found an unsecured sharpie.

Cute and clean property

This house was cozy and clean, which we really appreciated. I will say that it was disappointing to not have soap in the bathrooms and the liquid soap that was available was watered down to the point of just being water. When you pay a hefty price for a place to stay; one would expect soap and Kleenex in the bathrooms.

Well-equipped cabin with gorgeous views

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin. It had everything we needed for our family with plenty of space for everyone. We loved to sit by the fireplace while enjoying the incredible view from the front window. You will definitely want 4WD in the winter as the road is steep but well-maintained. Grab takeout at Pizza Lab on your way up the mountain and enjoy! It was an easy drive to Lead and Deadwood.

Clean, Peaceful and Quiet

Everything was as advertised; we had a great stay. I have no complaints, but one suggestion. The hot tub is out back looking at a berm of gravel and a propane tank. If the tub was in the front, you would have great view of the Black Hills which is what a person wants. 5 stars..

Relaxing Week

Absolutely loved the location, out away from most everything. Cabin was very clean upon arrival. Everything worked, extra fans in all the closets. No A/C might be a problem in the summer months. Deer, squirrel, chipmunks and turkey were our neighbors. Would definitely stay again.
