Cozy Creekside Cottage - RELAX by the Creek

Our Mountain home, Whispering Creek , is located in the Holly Forest area of Sapphire Valley Resort. We are located off of Buckberry Drive North. Whispering Creek Cottage is a 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath getaway in the heart of the Western North Carolina Mountains. There is nearby hiking, kayaking, waterfalls, golf & fishing. Or just curl up with a book by the stone fireplace or on the rocking chair porch while listening to the sounds of the cascading creek . We have FREE Wi-Fi, Satellite TV (2), and a cell phone booster for those with Verizon cell service . Come stay with us....We have it all!

Very nice home - would stay again. Host was very responsive and helpful. House was very clean and online description is accurate. Kitchen is well stocked with cookware, utensils and condiments. Plenty to do in and around Sapphire/Cashiers.

Beauty in the rain forest

The house is located in a beautiful Sapphire rainforest in North Carolina with wildlife everywhere. Even when it rains, it sounds beautiful. The house is very nice and overlooks the Forest and a beautiful-sounding stream. Very peaceful location.

Perfect Getaway

This cabin offered the perfect getaway for our family. The house layout was great and comfortable. Our boys loved the easy access to the creek and spent hours playing it while we could watch from the porch. Additionally Doug was extremely responsive and helpful. I highly recommend this property.

Pat and I were looking for a Mountain get-a-way and after looking at Lodges, log cabins and a variety of houses throughout the mountains of North Carolina we found this little Gem. We have spent the last three years adding our touches and have only a few small projects in mind that will make 'Whispering Creek Cottage' even more special in the future.
We fell in love with this area where we can both work on our golf games and I have numerous shops and galleries to display and sell my sculpture and pottery. Check out Mountain Mist Gallery (Cashiers) and Dragonfly Gallery (Brevard) if you get a chance.
We hope you will enjoy 'Whispering Creek Cottage' as much as we do and want to come back again and again....
