THE SUMMER OF 2025 WILL SIMPLY BE BETTER at my cozy waterfront home in Lavallette Borough, NJ - May last available week is in early September! (one of the best times to stay in Lavallette!)

SUMMER 2025 IS HERE AND GOING FAST! I HAVE ONE WEEK AVAILABLE IN EARLY SEPTEMBER.
Available week:
September 4 - 13 $3500* ( any 7 days, you select start date )
note: You can choose when you would like to start your stay, Sept. 4, 5, or 6. When you start your stay on a Thursday or Friday so you get the full weekend with lifeguards at the beach!. $3600 is for a full week (7 day stay). SPECIAL: if you start your stay on Thursday, I will consider allowing you to stay till the next Friday (8 days total) for an additional $100. Or, that is $3700 for 8 days! But, this is ONLY if you start on Thursday. (contact me to make arrangements if you would like the extra day deal)

No pets (due to allergies); no groups; no smoking/vaping; no large gatherings
*note: VRBO will add NJ taxes and their processing fees to any rates listed on their site.
Labor Day - September 1, 2025
This single family home is a larger, newer, waterfront home on a wide salt water lagoon. There is a 50ft dock in the large private backyard. The home is at the narrowest section of Lavallette so one has a very short walk to the ocean beach or you can drive there as there is free parking at the ocean block. The home is on a dead end street in a family friendly neighborhood with wonderful neighbors. The very happening Castaways Pub is located on the same street (next block) as this home.

THIS HOME IS IN LAVALLETTE. Many homes say they are in Lavallette (they lie) because they share the Lavallette postal code (and they know that Lavallette has the reputation of being one of the best locations to stay at the Jersey Shore), but they are located in smaller surrounding towns that do not have the wonderful aspects one has from being in Lavallette, e.g. larger homes that are on larger properties; small town with shops/restaurants; bay front area with Gazebo, Sunday concerts, basketball, pickleball, bocce ball, volleyball, and tennis courts; fishing/crabbing piers; a library; along with many other wonderful amenities one has no where else.
THIS HOME OFFERS THE BEST JERSEY SHORE EXPERIENCE BY BEING A WATERFRONT HOME. When not staying at a waterfront, well, it's just like your normal living accommodations. At this home, one sees water from most every room and you see people involved with water activities, e.g. boating, kayaking, swimming, fishing, crabbing, etc. You should know all waterfronts are not the same either. This home is located at the narrowest section of Lavallette with a very short walk to the ocean. The walk is similar to many home located on the ocean block at Point Pleasant beach. By contrast, some waterfronts (even in Lavallette) can have up to six times the walking distance!
As landlord, I strive to do more than any landlord I know to make your stay the best ever.
Some things I do include:
- Personally inspect the premises before each guest stay to be sure it is clean (and in a similar condition to that found by the first guest of the season)
- All mattress pads are sanitized and changed before each new guest stay (most rentals do not do this - yuk!)
- Personally make sure outside garbage cans are empty before each guests stay (who wants to arrive to other people's garbage)
- Personally inspect and make sure bathrooms and toilets are cleaned and sanitized
- Check all technology to make sure it is working (this home is a smart home with so much technology)
- Check the grounds to be sure they are in good condition, e.g. provide for weed removal if necessary
- The home comes with a written "manual" that explains things you might wish to know about the technology and items in each room of the house. You do not need it, but it's there if you'd like.
- I let the tenant know when mailings from me go out or are received (including payments)
- I provide text reminders of times to put out the garbage to the curb (there are 2 per week)
- BBQ grill grates are cleaned (like new) for each new guest's stay (who wants to arrive and find yucky grill grates with someone else's old food? Not at this rental!)
- And much more...
Make memories to cherish in this newer waterfront single family rental home. A 2024 vacation in Lavallette can be one of those memories.
Notes:
1) This property is also listed on other websites by owner where there are no NJ sales tax or fees and one can come tour the home first to see if it meets the needs of the family.
2) When booking through VRBO one is required to pay NJ sales tax and VRBO fees.
3) VRBO is very secure and you can feel safe booking here. When on other websites be careful as there can be fraud. Never wire money and it is best to meet the owner in person, however, there are other ways to be sure you are dealing with the owner of the property. Just be careful.

I retired from a job requiring much responsibility. I am a responsible, accessible, honest person. I am detailed and somewhat of a perfectionist who tries to get everything just right.
Why they chose this property
I have been renting at this location for approximately thirty years. I decided to tear down the previous rental home for various reasons and to rebuild (in 2017) a more upscale type home with wonderful features that were lacking in the previous home.
What makes this property unique
The home has many features considered to be somewhat upscale, e.g. elevator, hardwood floors throughout, granite kitchen counter, premium appliances, 4k television with premium cable TV/Internet/and WiFi. The neighbors are fantastic, friendly people. You are on a lagoon which offers many benefits if you do water activities or have a boat, etc. There is a short walk to the ocean which is at the end of the street with direct access to a life guarded beach. The town itself is considered one of the best in the area. Note: many places say they are "Lavallette, " but they really aren't. Some of the smaller communities have a Lavallette postal code, but they aren't in the town of Lavallette that has all the wonderful benefits.
