New for winter 2025/2026- 4 person barrel sauna.

With 4 bedrooms split between 2 floors and an additional guest cottage available
should you need it, your large group will have plenty of space to unpack, unwind,
and spread out.

FROM GRANDPARENTS TO TODDLERS, THERE'S SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE.

Whether it’s Grandpa teaching his teenaged grandson to unhook a fish in 3 seconds

...we’ve created a space for multiple generations to reconnect, without the buzzing

Q: What is there to do around town?
A: We are minutes away from Dover, New Philadelphia, and Ohio’s largest Amish
community. Nearby attractions include:
- Historic Zoar Village, Fort Laurens, and The Ohio and Erie Canal Towpath Trail
- Zoar Village Golf Course
- The Pro Football Hall of Fame (25 min drive to Canton)

Q: What about COVID?
A: We are taking extra precautions to keep our properties disinfected, which
includes the use of disinfectant on all door knobs, light switches, railings, faucet
handles, etc—in addition to all high-use areas.

Q: What about the guest cabin?
A: For groups larger than 14, the separate guest Cabin (sleeps 6) is available for an
additional nightly cost ($200/night). It comes with all the amenities:
- Large living room and fully stocked, eat-in kitchen
- Clothes washer & dryer
- Dishwasher
- Brand new electric AC and furnace
- Well water (though it’s perfectly fine to drink, it may have a different smell/taste
than you’d expect if you’re used to City Water)
- Located on the water

Q: Is it pet friendly?
A: Well behaved pets are welcome with well behaved owners. Pets do need to be
pre-approved and there is an additional $100/per pet fee.

Fun family time.

We loved staying at the cottage with our family. The beds are so comfortable and the house has everything you could ever want. We loved the family fun we had in the basement, air hockey, ski ball, arcade games, basketball. We loved spending our afternoons floating in the pond, kayaking and paddle boarding and then making dinner in the well stocked kitchen and playing games in the evening.

The most amazing rental. We travel a ton and have never stayed at a more immaculately maintained home. The host has thought of literally anything you could possible need. Our adult children loved the first floor game room, hot tub, sauna and pond. The home was very clean and the beds were so comfortable! We can’t wait to return again!

Girls getaway

I cannot think of a better location to have a family reunion or girls getaway! My group of eight thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We couldn’t believe how quickly the time passed, how laid-back and enjoyable our three days at the cottage were. There was so much to do we needed several more days to get everything in. Even with one day of rain we still found ourselves with plenty to do you will want for nothing if you stay at this or probably any of their properties! Thinking of who I can take next!!

Incredible property and even better hosts! The cottage is wonderful we had a blast enjoying the lake just steps from the cottage. We were truly impressed by how well stocked the house was with anything we might need and Rose went above and beyond with great communication. Highly recommend.

Our Youth Retreat at Maple Pond Cottage.

The property was amazing. We use this cottage for a Youth Retreat. The teens enjoyed the pond for swimming, fishing and kayaking. I might add, the bass were huge this year. Most importantly, we had the opportunity to baptize four young adults. The game room was definitely a nice addition to the fun. Personally, I have never stayed at a rental that was so well equipped with everything you need for a time away from home. Several of our adult chaperones are planning to book for their own family vacations.

Hands down the best weekend rental I’ve ever had!

I have been fortunate to stay in several rental vacation homes in my life, and I can confidently say this is the best one I’ve ever stayed in. I am blown away by all of the convenient details that were provided; from extra toothbrushes all the way to tiny “no monsters allowed” signs under the beds. There aren’t enough words in the world to describe how thankful I am for my stay this weekend.

Quiet, relaxing, so fun!

We booked the Cottage and Cabin for a ladies’ getaway. The location is easy to access from the highway, but far enough away we had little to almost no traffic on the road this is off. The houses were so clean and such nice amenities, we were all impressed! Many of us (11) total have stayed at rentals for past vacations, and this was by far the best!! Rose is amazing, with emails and text messages leading up to, and even during our weekend! The cottage and cabin were both adult or family-friendly. The memories we made will have us laughing and sharing our newly created inside jokes for years to come!

The best retreat ever! Great for large families or small groups!

So much attention to detail! The house is in a lovely setting surrounded by a lovely pond. Beautiful house with nice landscaping and amenities. Hot tub, sauna, kayaks, fire ring and outdoor seating. Inside is well equipped with tasteful furnishings and comfortable beds. Game room in the basement has a gaming system, arcade style games, basketball, ski ball, ping pong and more! So much attention to detail! Lovely kitchen and coffee bar all well stocked. Nice additions for kids available as well. I've stayed at many rentals and this one was the best equipped and planned with no detail left out!

Can't say anything except spectacular - the little touches that were just extras (nothing the owner needed to do but did to make us even more welcome) went a long ways. This is a must stay ad we will be back for sure.
