About this property

Windy Point Cottage sits right accross the street from Windy Point Channel, which is a favorite of locals for fishing. The cottage is the perfect location for rest and relaxation with a nice outside fire pit for your enjoyment with complimentary firewood. Windy Point Cottage offers ample parking for not only your vehicle but your boat, jet skies, etc

There is also a public boat launch as well as docks located 1/4 mile for boaters, a swimmers beach with restrooms, picnic areas and a shelter house all within a minute for your convenience.

The home offers a fully equipped kitchen. Pots, pans, dishes, keurig coffee maker, drip coffee maker, blender, microwave, gas stove, and refrigerator. The cottage does not have a dishwasher.

The cottage does not offer a washer or dryer but we do offer a ironing board and iron. There is a laundromat right down the road ( 1/4 mile) a few minutes away at Zuma Thru.

Complete no contact stay for your convenience.

Enjoy the Franklin Township Greenway bike/run/walking Trail which is right out your front door. The 5.5 miles paved surface offers two covered bridges and over 100 acres of wildlife preservation area.

Enjoy lake friendly restaurants, bars nearby Buoys Bar & Grill, Sunnyside 2-1/2 miles, Shingle Shack 1-1/4 miles, Bayview 2-1/2 miles, Shoreline Bar & Grill 3 miles, Duckfoot 5-1/4 miles and Behms 5-1/2 miles.

Windy Point is a great location to stay if you are planning on attending any of the wonderful festivals and special events in the area.

Quiet, comfy and cozy

The property is just as it is listed and the host were super nice, thoughtful and available if needed. The home is just that, a home. It was very pleasant and snug and located in a quiet and serene area. If you want to get away and just relax and take in nature, this is the place. Very nice.

Home away from home

We love the cottage so much. We have stayed there many times and call it our lake house, lol. Because truth be told we are actually looking to move to that area and having Windy Point Cottage as a place to go to in the meantime has been perfect. The home has all that is needed for a very comfortable stay. Chris & Mary are the best hosts. Thank you for the inspiration to live in the area, retirement is not that far away for us. Now, we really do look forward to it thanks to you opening your home to stay at we have found where we want to spend those years.
