Relax and enjoy this beautifully designed home within walking distance to White Sands Beach and yards away from some of the finest bodysurfing in Kona.

The main part of the house sits above street level with a beautiful partial ocean view. The entry doors open into the living room where you look out across the lanai and pool to the ocean. The kitchen and dining room and master bedroom share this wonderful view. The master bedroom has a king bed and large bath with marble shower and Japanese soaking tub. It also has its own separate access to the pool. You will love the small inviting ocean blue tile pool with rock waterfall. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed with private entrance to the shared bath. The 3rd bedroom has 2 twin beds. The studio has a separate entry at street level. It has a bedroom with a king bed , bath and kitchenette. The studio sleeps four with the sofa sleeper and is air conditioned. There is a large flat screen TV and a stereo. It has a large patio and outside seating .

The Base rate is for 6 guests. Additional guest fee will apply for more than 6 guests.

Property was exactly as described and catered well to our family of 9, with 5 adults and 4 children ranging from 2 to 12 in age. Really? Well, designed to use the cooling winds and the pool was perfect for afternoon cooling off with the beach and snorkel spot close by. The requests that we had were responded to within the hour each time by a very patient Sarang. Whole heartedly recommend this holiday stay and these hosts in every way.

Hawaii Family Trip

The property location is amazing, just a short 5-10 min walk to Magic Sands Beach. The pool was amazing and my 3 boys (ages 8,5,2) loved it! There were beach towels and toys at the house. The cooler was great to have on our trips to the Hilo side. Communication with the owner was great and they were super helpful.

The property was perfectly located, spacious, and clean, and the owner provided lots of great information about the neighborhood as well as access to things like pool floats, lawn chairs, etc. The only thing that would have made it perfect would have been air conditioning. In that part of the world, I appreciate allowing the island currents to help cool the place off, but we couldn't get sufficient airflow through the windows every night. Perhaps higher-capacity ceiling fans would help if wall or window units aren't desirable aesthetically. Still, it felt like an island experience, and I would highly recommend the property. It was great value for the price.

We had a great time in Hawaii! There was a snag with the check-in process but it was swiftly rectified by Sarang. House was not as clean as we had hoped, especially based on previous reviews.

Beautiful house with a convenient location

A gorgeous house that accommodated 8 adults, located close to the water and fairly close to the beaches. Very convenient to have 3 bathrooms. We absolutely loved that the kitchen was fully stocked and had lots of dishes to use, as we cooked for most of our meals. The pool was very relaxing after a day of exploring the island. Host was very responsive and communicated well. Would highly recommend!

Super quiet and private location! Very well stocked with spices, beach toys, beach towels etc. lots of space for everyone! A bit of an ocean view, nice to watch the sunset! Would stay here again!

Beautiful VRBO for wedding week!

Great older home in excellent location

This home is perfect for a large family. Great common area and pool is nice. Has everything you need for beach vacation. The rental is showing it's use but you'll pay much more for perfection.

Best house in Hawaii

What an amazing vacation we had, and a big part of it was this house. First of all, it was easy to get to and get in, very clean and well stocked, and the layout was perfection! We all loved hanging out on the lanai and playing in the pool when we needed a beach break, and there was plenty of beach toys, coolers, equipment galore. We will definitely stay again.

Beautiful Kona Paradise

We had four adults and couldn’t have enjoyed ourselves more! This gorgeous home is clean, well stocked and comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and bbq in the evenings. I was up before the sun to sit outside and wait for the birds to wake up. Sarang has a great list of things to do and places to eat on the island. I kept a copy in the car and it was so helpful. I also had to reach out to Sarang about the waterfall in the pool and got an immediate response. I would not hesitate to stay here again and hope I can. 10/10! Thank you Sarang!

Amazing Big Island Vacation

My husband and I rented this amazing property with two other couples. It was the first time visiting for all 6 of us. From the moment we booked this home we have had exceptional service. We received so much information on the area and things to do before we even arrived. Questions were answered promptly. Check in & out were easy processes. The property is in a great location. Easy access to a local beach, gorgeous sunset views and all the amenities you need. The pool is an added bonus. We can’t say enough about how much we loved our stay here. Highly recommended it.

Home away from home

This property is so cute. From the layout of the house to the cute pineapple plants growing outside there is so much character. I do have to say that this house needs a good scrubbing from TOP to bottom. The lights and beams were covered in dust and the walls were splattered. Also some home restorations like paint repairs could be done to be more pleasing on the eye. The pool was amazing. It is a salt water pool and my kids LOVED it! It was the highlight to my kid's stay. The Lanai was also greatly used! Dinner on the Lanai with the pool water feature on was the icing with every sunset.

Perfect family reunion holiday

My husband and 2 kids (ages 8 & 5) who live in Australia met up with my sister and cousins (who each had an infant) from the East Coast USA and stayed in this house together for a week. It was magical. The house was so well equipped for us, including lots of useful baby gear, beach toys, pool floaties, snorkel gear and more. My kids were in the pool at least 3 times a day, and we loved walking down to Magic Sands beach as well (where we got to swim with turtles!) We loved the cafe/restaurant on the beach and had dinner and breakfast there several times. The house was very comfortable, everything was as described. We were so greatful for all the condiments, spices and pantry items that were in the house. It is so annoying to have to buy all those things just for a one-week stay. We loved the adorable green geckos crawling everywhere and made great use of the outdoor shower. It was a perfect week.

Big Island beauty (and critters)

The location is terrific, the view is even better in person. You could tell that care was given to try to include many comforts of home (bath towels, beach towels, linens, books, games, laundry detergent, dish soap, etc.) to make the start of our stay easy. The pool was lovely to relax in, though some of the tiles are coming off. We did not understand that the main home was without air conditioning so we experienced many warm days and nights when the breeze was lacking. We ended up not needing the ohana (which does have a window AC, but the area is too small to accommodate us all). Our kids enjoyed naming the plethora of geckos in the house. The mouse and cockroaches were a little tough, though. We were able to catch and dispose of the mouse (he was hiding under the fridge and stove). The home was pleasant enough, the updated countertops and sinks are a nice touch, but some things still feel a little rustic. Overall, it provided us a laid back place to land and the owners were very thoughtful in their planning and communication.

Basically loved it, only a few problems

We rented the house plus the separate Ohana unit for our family of 6 adults and 2 children because we needed 6 beds. We would stay in the house again. The house was great - very comfortable, located only a few blocks from Magic Sands - a nice little family beach - and a short drive from a shopping center with a grocery and drug store and restaurants. We could even see the sun set over the ocean from the deck. It was well-equipped for cooking, easy to do laundry, and the kids especially loved the pool. There were beach chairs, beach towels, sand toys, snorkeling gear, and coolers which made our trips to the beach very easy and enjoyable. The problems were maintenance and communication. Our adult son slept on a mattress on the floor for 2 weeks because one side of the support springs on the old hide-a-bed in the Ohana unit have torn out and the owner wouldn't correct the problem. There were a few other maintenance issues such as the older sliding door screens falling off their tracks. The lack of a bed was a big problem but the other issues were minor. We enjoyed our stay and especially recommend it for families.

We stayed for 8 nights and it worked out perfect. The property is beautiful and we loved the pool. It was so nice to walk a short 5 to 10 min and be at a beach. Having beach supplies like chairs, coolers and snorkle gear was also great. Due to a previous guest there was an issue with the toilet in the downstairs room but the owner quickly had it fixed.I couple things to note. The main house does not have AC which we were not used to. My husband is someone who would have ac on even when it is 60 degrees. Lol. But it wasnt a major issue especially since we were out doing things during the day. The other thing to be aware of is the driveway is extremely steep so for those with bad knees or who are older it might be a little challenging. We opened the garage door at the top of the driveway and my dad who is 81 pulled his car in there so it worked out. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this home to others visiting Kona.

King Kamehameha made is home just 1 mile from where our house is located. My thought was what better place to build my home . The king had his choice of all the islands .

The home is at the end of a culdesac offering a very quite private experience . Sunset views of the ocean from the Lani and private sun bathing by the pool in the buff if you so desire.
