Family Friendly Cozy Farmhouse

The farmhouse is located in a peaceful, rural area. It is a working farm so sometimes you will be able to see farm work in action. This home is 29 miles from Great Falls, 12 miles southeast of Fairfield, 27 miles southeast of Choteau, and 32 miles from Augusta. A beautiful spot in the country to hang your hat for the evening. The kitchen is fully equipped with full size refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker, dishes, pots & pans, utensils and BBQ out on the patio. Pets are allowed in the sun room or out in the dog run, but not in the home without supervision. A ping pong table is also great fun for the entire family.

The house has wifi and TV including Netflix. The deck has outside seating in the afternoon shade or morning sun for coffee.

This home is centrally located to visit Glacier National Park, access hiking or biking trails, as well as lakes, rivers and streams for fishing. There is pheasant, geese and duck hunting available with an inquiry. Elk and deer hunting are close by as well. Fort Shaw is 4 miles away with wonderful history of the 1904 World Championship Girls Basketball Team. The CM Russell museum, Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center, and Rivers Edge Trail are located in Great Falls, just 29 miles away. Freezeout lake is only 25 minutes away, and is Montana's primary snow goose staging area. A place where as many as 300,000 snow geese and 10,000 tundra swans gather and rest before flying onward.

Great weekend getaway

This farmhouse in the middle of beautiful Montana was a great place to stay and had everything we needed. Comfy beds, good water pressure and everything we needed in the kitchen.

Peaceful getaway

Very quiet and comfortable farmhouse. Great sunrise and sunset views. My family and I stayed for a weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. Great accommodations, would like to stay again.

Great Farmhouse

We picked this home because it was so close to Fairfield. We were here for a visit with family. The house was very clean and beds were comfortable. Lots of room for the kids to play. Will definitely stay here again.

Relaxing & quiet farm house

Our hostess was very generous & accommodating. Her dachshund, Conway, was a cutie! We truly enjoyed our stay. Got a lot of golf in…could actually walk the Fairfield course…loved the Cozy Corner (chai tea & milk shakes-yummm). If we’re ever in the area again, it’s a place we’d stay.

Our Week at the Farmhouse :)

My family and I stayed for a week at the farmhouse and enjoyed every minute! Booking was easy and Jennifer was quick to answer my questions. The house is next to Jennifer and her family but there is plenty of privacy, and we really enjoyed visiting with her. We were free to explore and felt completely at home! We were very happy with the house, it was exactly as we expected. It’s large and clean, very comfortable. We had everything we needed for cooking. Temperatures were in the low 90’s while we were there but cool at night, so between the AC in the living room during the day and open windows and fans at night we were very comfortable. Thank you for a peaceful and welcoming week, we will definitely book again if we make it to this area in the future!

Cozy farmhouse

This property is very special! It was old and needed a bit of updating. But why....That gave it charm. My family and I loved everything about this old Farmhouse! We had everything we could possible need. They didn’t mind us getting pictures on the hay bails and checking out all the old farm equipment. The kids got to meet a horse and some cows. Some of us did CrossFit work outs with that old equipment. We could run for miles in those beautiful green fields. The ping pong table was a plus and kept us entertained during a bad weather day. Couldn’t have asked for a better place stay.

Family Gathered for a Wedding

This property worked out very well for out gathering. We came to Montana for my son's wedding and we were able to have everyone for nightly meals, great ping pong matches and even played in the fresh snow!!! My only disappointment was the down stairs TV. I was so surprised when it played the old VHS movie I picked to watch in black & white! The movie wasn't that old!!! Haha The rental description may have disclosed that, but if it did, I missed that detail. Over all was a great time! The owners were very hospitable. Thank you for sharing your home ❤

Home Away From Home

We have traveled a lot over the last 16 years from Maine to Alaska to California to Florida and have stayed at countless places from hotels, cabins, cottages and the farmhouse. This is our family's favorite place to stay!!!!! It feels like home. The owners are super pleasant and kind. They are friendly. The farmhouse is spacious, clean and simply a lovely place to stay on your journey. Our children love the farmhouse so much that they wished we lived there. Our children love that it is on a live working farm!!! Our kids never want to leave when its our time to check out. Saying goodbye to the farmhouse feels like saying goodbye to a dear friend. So many beautiful memories have been made here. The farmhouse holds a special place in all of our hearts. Our kids love playing with the dogs that live on the farm. Hands down BEST place we have ever stayed!!! We look forward to going back again someday. This was our 2nd stay at the farmhouse. We love the farmhouse and the atmosphere around it. Thank you for such a lovely stay!!!

Awaiting the birth of our grandson

The farmhouse was so cozy and welcoming. We were here visiting or daughter, her husband, River Lily, our 4 year old granddaughter, and Brandon's parents. Megan was pregnant with our grandson who was supposed to be born around August 24th and we were there August 31st through September 7th. Megan actually went into labor on Labor Day and Simon was born 30 hours later and we got to visit him Wednesday in the hospital and that day when they came home from the hospital before we left on Thursday morning early to head back to PA! Our granddaughter came over for the day on Monday when it was raining and Megan had gone in to labor and she had an awesome time playing down in the room that has the ping pong table with all of the ping pong balls! She also loved all the different blankets she was able to find and make a campsite and a bonfire! Although we were only there for the most part in the evening it was such a nice time and a great place to come home to in the evening. We also enjoyed going to Big Sky deli with family while we were here!

We purchased this home as a part of our farm and decided to rent it out for a vacation home, rather than have full-time renters. We have enjoyed meeting all different folks from across the country.
