Excellent central longstay option

Yossi's apartment suited our needs, being within walking distance of the Baha'i Shrine and Gardens, in addition to the multiple restaurants up and down Ben Gurion Avenue. The extra bedroom and half bath, plus full fridge, washing machine (w drying rack) and comfortable living area were much appreciated. Yossi is quick to respond to inquiries, both prior to and during our visit, and even when we needed him for a late night issue (nothing to do with his apartment!)...He definitely acted as our host, and was willing to go above and beyond to assist. Thank you again Yossi! We highly recommend this spot.

Home Away from Home as Baha'i Pilgrims

We were so comfortable in this apartment for our Baha'i pilgrimage. It provided a home away from home that made all the difference for our first international trip with our girls, ages 9 and 11. Yossi had thought of many details for guests' comfort, from adaptors, to providing discount code for nearby grocery store. The view of the Shrine of the Bab from the bedrooms and dining table was so memorable! The washing machine and drying rack were a life saver in the July heat (though the machine did make noise so could not use while kids were sleeping). The 3 floor walk-up did get hot in the summer (the style of many buildings in Haifa, outside of our host's control) and might be a challenge for some people with luggage, but if you can handle this, I would recommend this for anyone's time in Haifa. Thank you Yossi for a wonderful stay!

Lovely flat in central location

Everything about our stay was a joy. Yossi was incredibly helpful before we set off - everything I asked him he bent over backwards to answer as fully and completely as possible. And Ulfat, the manager, is a treasure. She was helpful to us in so many ways, including giving us a personal tour of the fascinating arts center where she works. We had a couple of issues - a leaking ceiling and a poor internet connection - but Yossi and Ulfat went out of their way to solve them as quickly and easily for us as possible. The flat is a delight, beautifully restored and furnished in the German Templer colony, one of the architectural treasures of old Haifa. It's on a side street so fairly quiet. Just be warned that the public areas of the 3-story house have no doors or windows - a little disconcerting at first. Apparently they're waiting to find a set of authentic doors and windows. The landings are also poorly lit at night, so use a flashlight. But we felt very safe, and we slept fantastically - the beds are really comfortable. This is Yossi's home for when he's in Haifa, so he's made sure everything there is top quality.

Wonderful stay in Israel

We needed a place to accommodate a family of four (two kids 4 and 9 + 2 parents. Yossi's place was wonderful: spacious enough, all the necessary amenities incl dishwasher, fridge, cutlery and dishes, beddings, and more. Two washrooms, Ac in each room, a little balcony, kitchen, TV, and internet. The location was great - walking distance from numerous restaurants, a grocery store, the Bahai gardens' lower entrance, and more. Free parking on the streets around the house. The house is old and authentic, in a good way - and yet equipped with all the modern necessities of life. Yossi was attentive to all our issues and requests. Highly recommended.

Great location. Clean, fully equipped apartment. Nice kitchen area. Helpful managers. Second floor( ground floor is 0) more than Forty stairs from street to apartment door. Windows on all 4 sides. Light and airy.

A Gem!

We really enjoyed our stay in the German Colony. The apartment is better than in the photos and the owner did a great job modernizing it. We especially liked the high ceilings and tall windows. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed plus a coffee machine to start our day with nice capuccinos. The views are interesting as one can see a bit of the port, the Baha'i gardens and downtown, yet we were pleasantly surprised that the area is quiet both during the day and night. We also felt very safe and walked a lot of places. The train station is not far and easily accessible. When we had a rental car, there is a free place to park and highway 4, is a block over from the apartment, which made it easy to get in and out of town for day trips. The local caretaker who welcomed us was very nice and all the communication with the owner was timely and positive. We hope to come back one day and will recommend this property to family and friends.

Apartment was very clean, high specification. Nice touches where a bowl of fruit, milk in the fridge, etc. Although it had a microwave, and gas hob, we would have appreciated an oven over the dishwasher. The care and attention given us by the owner and manageress before, during and after the stay was second to none. Would highly recommend. We hope to return again.

Great Apartment in Haifa.

The apartment in a great location - right in the center of German Colony of Haifa with numerous restaurants and shops. There is a bus stop around the corner and parking lot near by. The apartment is nearby shopping center with several shops and small supermarket. The Baha'i Center and Gardens within walking distance and the night view on the gardens from the apartment is amazing! The apartment is in an old building with a character, but inside the apartment everything is very modern and have been updated to the highest standards. There was plenty of room for three of us. Our 15-years old son had second very spacious bedroom with two separate beds all to himself. Having two separate bedrooms with bathrooms is a big plus, specially for families or two couple traveling together. The living space very spacious as well with separate living and dining areas. The kitchen has all the amenities you may need. We loved the apartment and will definitely try to stay there on our next visit to Haifa.

An incredibly comfortable and very well located apartment

We have been living here for five weeks and we will be here for five weeks more. We love both Haifa and the apartment and are very glad we decided to spend a self-declared sabbatical here. The apartment is sunny and airy and very nicely decorated. The kitchen is well-equipped and the washing machine has been a great convenience. Our bed is extremely comfortable, a very important consideration for a ten week stay. Finally, we love the location - we can walk to Ben Gurion Avenue, the Bahai Gardens, and the Arab neighborhood of Wadi Nisnas which has a wonderful food stores and a great souk on Saturdays. There are many bus routes that stop within three blocks and the train station is a ten minute walk away for day trips to Tel Aviv, Akko, etc., Yossi, the owner, and his local helper Sawsan have been incredibly helpful and responsive. We hope to come back someday when it's beach weather!

Great apartment!

This is an amazing apartment. I had great vacation there. Everything is new, clean and beautiful. The apartment is well equipped with all new furniture. So great design. So comfortable! The location is perfect. You can find beautiful places around, shops and restaurants. Thank you so much for opportunity to spend time there. I have great memories of being there. Quite an Oasis in Haifa

The apartment is well equipped, clean with new furniture, a very functional and modern kitchen and household equipment in excelent conditions. It Has a dishwasher, washing machine, air conditioners, mattresses in very good condition and a very good bathroom and a small half bath. The building is old building, but is being remodeled, so contrasts with the ingerior modern decor. The location is very good, as is a few blocks from the best restaurants in Haifa and tourist attractions. You will find a shopping center just a block away as well as bus stops. I highly recommend this apartment

We always wished to own a property in Haifa's German Colony where I could stay with my family during the time that we are in Israel and provide a home for guests coming to Haifa for a visit.

What makes this property unique

The flat is newly renovated and therefore very comfortable, providing all required amenities. It is centrally located at the heart of the charming German Colony touristic area with many restaurants, shops and cafes in close vicinity. Main public transportation routes including the train, busses and 'Matronit' are all within very close walking distance. At the same time being at a side street, just off Ben-Guryon Avenue, the flat is quiet and tranquil . These features make the flat an ideal choice for visitors coming from abroad.
