House was clean with very thoughtful amenities - beach chairs, umbrellas, extra beach towels, etc. Loved the back outdoor space looking onto the golf course. Unfortunately the condo next door was having new hardwood floors installed during our stay - making noise/parking a challenge around the contractors.

Aloha! On behalf of the staff and management of Kona Coast Vacations, we very much appreciate you taking your valuable time to provide us with this very important feedback. We do our best to notify guests of work going on around the complex, unfortunately not all associations require owners to give their neighbors notice of work going on. Thank you for taking a moment to share your experience. We hope to see you again the next time you return to the Big Island. Mahalo, Kona Coast Vacations

Wonderful Paradise Home

We loved our stay! House is incredibly spacious, has everything we needed to feel right at home. Loved the pool area and walking around the neighborhood, which was quiet and safe for everyone to enjoy themselves. Having the private beach access nearby via car was also a fantastic amenity. The restaurant that they have at the private beach was really good too. Would highly recommend this VRBO to anyone.

Hawaii Home

Not only was the home wonderful, clean, and comfortable, the pool area was the best we have found in all the years we have been traveling to the area! There was a family fun pool and a lap pool with a quiet area. The home had everything we needed for our stay, including a grill on the lanai.

Comfortable stay

Loved the ground floor. The parking was a little challenging but figured it out. Very spacious and really appreciated a working AC unit and hot water heater. Not always easy to find in Hawaii. The grounds are beautiful and plenty of pools and hot tubs. Would stay again!

A Family Gathering

This property is perfect. The rooms are large and with the high ceilings., the rental feels very spacious. Everything we could have wanted was available- beach chairs and ice chests, plenty of kitchen supplies and even some spices and olive and vinegar. The pools and grounds are lovely and the complex is quiet and peaceful.

Perfect

We loved this property. It was centrally located to the activities we enjoyed, specifically our favourite beach Hāpuna and several golf courses. It was a short drive to the harbour for our fishing and scuba diving trips. The property was as advertised and parking was a bit of an issue, but was expected as several other reviews had mentioned it and wasnā€™t a big issue as we found parking at the common area.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would rent this property again.

Perfect comfortable home base for our family vacation!

This home was even better and more impressive than the photos! We stayed with our two kids (8 and 9) for 10 days and loved it. Check-in/check-out was seamless and easy, the home and kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The house was spotless when we arrived. The pool was AMAZING and our kids were obsessed. The beds were so comfortable. If I could improve anything, it would just be for better water pressure, but that didn't lessen our enjoyment of the stay! Would definitely return and stay here again.

4 days on Big Island

House was perfect for our 4 day stay. This is the cleanest rental weā€™ve ever stayed in. We didnā€™t have to even wash a single dish before using it. Bathroom was perfect, bed was extremely comfortable. Location was great: 3 minute ride to the Fairmont Orchid, 5 minutes to the Mauna Lani. One note that we didnā€™t realize until we got there: you donā€™t have access to the Mauna Lani Resort pool/beach chairs and towels, but the Mauna Lani Beach Club which is just down the road a little further. Overall 5/5.

Aloha Dieter, Please know we are available 7 days a week for any issues. We would have been able to investigate the issue you experienced. The unit was only vacant for a few days. For guest safety we do empty ice bins on each turnover for cleanliness. Mahalo, Kona Coast Vacations

Luxury Island living

After staying on the North Shore of Oahu for a few days before coming to the big island, this was a big shock in a good way though. Plenty of space for us party of four a friend of mine plus my two girls who got the main suite. we enjoyed the pool and the market that was nearby. I slept great in the bed. itā€™s a quiet neighborhood. Our minivan wouldnā€™t fit in the garage easily so we had to find other parking, but I knew about this from the reviews and it wasnā€™t a game changer at all, thereā€™s other parking spots nearby. Will be back. Thanks.

Excellent Condo at Mauna Lani

This property was perfect for our family of 4. We loved the pools, which were situated very close to the unit. The ocean is about a mile walk, but a beautiful place to view the sunset. The condo is even more roomy and spacious than depicted in the photos, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook at home, which we did for most of our meals (Costco is a short drive away in Kona!). The beds were very comfortable, and the 2-story layout enabled our family to spread out comfortably. We loved lounging on the lanai and spent time there each day of our stay. We had a small issue with the A/C, which was addressed quickly by Kona Coast. We loved the proximity to great beaches, shopping, and restaurants. We highly recommend Hapuna Beach for swimming and boogie boarding! Snorkeling was great at the Mauna Lani Beach Club, and it was also a relaxing place to swim and sit at the beach! Thank you for providing a comfortable, relaxing, and beautiful stay on the Big Island!

Kulalani 802

Very comfortable - all the bedrooms had nice beds, kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, outdoor grill was great. Spent a ton of time drinking coffee or cocktails on the lanai - the way the units are set up it feels very secluded. There was no garage door opener in the unit, but that was a minor issue. Everything was clean and well cared for. Mauna Lani was a great area to use as base for exploring the island and really nice to have access to the Mauna Lani beach club. Spent every afternoon at the pool with the kids. We had 4 adults and two 5 year-olds and never felt cramped.

Beautiful Resort Condo

Group of 6 including grandparents, parents and 2 teenage boys. Condo had a perfect layout for us. The unit was super clean and as described. We enjoyed the patio area attached to the unit in the evenings and used the barbecue for most of our dinners. All of the true necessities were available, but would have appreciated a few items typically available in rentals, such as a pen and paper, chip/bag clips and lotion, but this was super minor. Most importantly, the condo was clean and A/C worked great. The grounds were beautifully maintained and the pool area was great for our family. We enjoyed the large covered area in the evenings for playing cards and eating dinner near the pool. Our teens used the pool, hot tub and workout facilities. We would highly recommend this property.

Big Island Trip Aug 3 - Aug 9

Our stay at this property was great & all the communication leading up to it from Kona Coast Vacations the property manager was awesome. They made the checking and access seamless. The home is nice, very well appointed, and clean. No complaints because the following two things did not cause us any real issue but will mention because some might find it annoying. The home does have a single car garage however it was virtually impossible to get a car into it. The arch/builder made them too small for other than a compact car or golf cart(s). Therefore us and other renters in adjacent units were competing for the two guest spots associated with the 4 homes in that lot 8. When the spots were full as we came and went, we just parked at the pool/fitness lot which always had room and was not an issue. The other minor annoyance with 802 was the water pressure. It was very low, to the point that only one shower could be used at a time and you had to be sure to not have the washer or dishwasher on at same time. I did message the property manager the 1st night and they did respond immediately offering to send a maintenance person out next day however we chose to just deal with it. I was thinking it might have been the same for all units and perhaps they dial the water pressure back during the summer months for water conservation due to the high fire danger.....which as we know being from CA is real concern. Again overall the home and the property management group are great.

Beautiful place, very comfy, large and great location in a lovely, new development

Kulalani at Mauna Lani is a beautiful, newer complex. The pool area is just perfect, with an adult only area and hot tubs. Now on to the townhouse itself - a very large place for my family of 4, it was so comfy and well stocked with everything we needed - Has good beds, nice rooms, big new tv, beach chairs, coolers, and more. I would definitely stay here again anytime and donā€™t have anything to criticize - if you book this place, youā€™ll love it :)

Great location and very spacious, comfortable home.

We were a 3 minute drive from a well stocked grocery store and 6 minute drive from the community private beach. The beach has a wonderful restaurant, plenty of lounge chairs, an inlet cove that is perfect for swimming and snorkeling, and the best spot for seeing whales. The house was a little worn but so comfy! We were missing a few items that arrived promptly after we requested them. The garage is narrow so not great for SUVs and we were not provided a garage door opener but that didnā€™t bother us. There are 3 parking spots outside the garage. Overall we were happy with our stay.
