We travel quite a bit, and had a great trip. We have been coming to Key West for over 20 years, staying in Old Town on the water. This was probably the cleanest room we have had. Cannot wait until our next visit!
As far as appliances, the dishwasher is very tired, and pots, pans, and knives are inadequate.
If we had a chance, we would buy this unit, because those minor things can easily be fixed.
But...we would definitely come back.

Why they chose this property
I own two weeks at The Galleon (week 44 and week 45) which is always one of the weeks of Boat Week. I have seen enough races over the years and I now usually go down to Key West the non Boat Week. Some years that even includes Fantasy Fest! So, I usually rent out the Boat Week unit. This is my first year trying VRBO because my usual renter of the Unit (7 years running) will not be attending Boat Week (week 44) this year.
What makes this property unique
If you're familiar with Key West, you know that the location of the Galleon on Front Street is so convenient to Duval St and within walking distance to most of the major Key West attractions. GREAT LOCATION! And by being the last complex on Front St., you're surprised at how private and secluded the Resort feels. The Unit this year during Boat Week (C33) overlooks one of the turn pylons during the races and you can sit on the Unit's balcony for an unobstructed view of the racing.
