Facing the Dune du Penon, very nice apartment on one level, classified 2*, spacious, with a ground floor corner, quiet and pleasant, landscaped view of the dune, area: 58 m2 for 6 people maximum, corner terrace South/West paved, sun all afternoon. The beaches and shops are on foot and the car is not useful during the stay. Composition: Large living room with convertible sofa (2 beds), LED TV, 1 dining area (6 wooden chairs), 1 kitchen area equipped with 4 electric plates, hood, electric oven, microwave, table-top, raclette appliance and refrigerator with freezer part, dishwasher and washing machine. 2 bedrooms, one with bed 140 and the other with 2 bunk beds 90 x 200 plus 1 bed drawer (3 beds). Bathroom with bath, sink and toilet. Closed bicycle storage in the residence. Public parking with many accessible spaces. NOTE: Price includes charges in July and August. Outside of these periods, charges do not include heating. This is calculated on the EDF meter reading on arrival and departure at the current rate. A deposit of € 350 is also requested (not debited) returned 1 month maximum after the stay. The cleaning is optional: the package is 80 €. See terms and conditions with the owner, WIFI free. Note: Pets are not allowed. Linen is not provided. Excluding school holidays, possibility to rent by night with a minimum of 4 nights rented. Prices to see with the rental.

Nice location

The apartment is located quite nice: Short walk to the beach and to the small center. Everything is organzied very well to find everything instantly. E.g. color code on the keys and corresponding locks. The electricity is a little "special" :) but everything works well. We were suprised about the nice big terrace which we didn´d expect based on the pictures. There is sun in the morning to one side and from early afternoon to dawn on the other. Missing WiFi was already mentioned several times in the comments but was no problem for us. Further more there is hardly any connectivity to mobile data within the apartment - only close to the doors or on the terrace. Giving the opportunity for digital detox during vacation time ;)

Thank you very much for your positive response. With regard to WIFI, there is the possibility to connect to the tourist office located 500 m from the apartment or to perform a shared connection from the mobile phone effectively. Maybe we will consider installing WIFI in the apartment, but it is also true that it allows other leisure activities (board games, card games) that allow to reconnect family links.

Un logement très bien situé, proche des commerces et de la plage. On ne prend pas la voiture ! Appartement pratique, propre et fonctionnel. Je recommande ! Seul bémol, le réseau téléphonique n'est pas top dans la résidence. Vacances déconnectées au top 😁

Pour l'humidité dans la salle de bain, la VMC a été vérifiée hier et fonctionne parfaitement. A mon avis, l'humidité est due au fait que la raclette n'est pas toujours passée après les douches et que la porte de la salle de bain reste fermée, alors qu'il est demandée de la laisser ouverte après les douches (voir livret d'accueil). La WIFI n'est pas dans l'appartement, mais il est dit dans le descriptif qu'on peut accéder à la WIFI gratuitement à l'office du tourisme (à 200 m environ).

Merci beaucoup pour cette bonne appréciation. Effectivement, ce serait un plus d'avoir internet dans le logement pour les hotes. Je peux y réfléchir pour l'année prochaine. L'office du tourisme situé à 100 m de l'appartement met à disposition internet gratuitement. Ce peut être une solution.

Bel appartement très bien situé

Très contents de notre choix de location cette année à Seignosse Océan avec une propriétaire très gentille et accueillante. L'appartement est bien situé : à 5 min à pieds des commerces de la rue piétonne et du marché saisonnier et à côté de la plage. Une fois les grosses courses effectuées, tout se fait à pieds ! L'appartement est très spacieux et calme. La cuisine bien équipée et agencée pour ce type de F3. L'atout majeur est le jardin, surtout pour les jeunes enfants qui ont plus d'espace pour jouer et cela permet à toute la famille de se restaurer dehors le midi comme le soir grâce à ses 2 expositions vu qu'il est en angle du bâtiment. Pas de passage de piétons devant l'appartement car il donne sur une impasse. Seul regret, il manque une petite table basse dans la partie salon pour que les enfants puissent dessiner par exemple.

Pour répondre à cette appréciation, je dirai que l'on a déjà prévu de mettre une table basse d'apéritif, mais n'habitant pas sur place, le temps nous a manqué. Ce sera fait pour la saison prochaine. A signaler que l'appartement est maintenant classé 2 * depuis juillet 2016 ce qui est une garantie supplémentaire pour les futurs locataires.

Très bon séjour

Agréable séjour dans cette location, ainsi que dans cette région. La description est conforme à la réalité. La situation géographique permet de tout faire à pied durant le séjour (plage, course, resto, parc aquatique, école de surf, piste cyclable) La propriétaire est disponible pour l'arrivée et le départ, et très gentille. Seules petites points négatifs : Quelques épingles à linge supplémentaire seraient les bienvenus et le local à vélo était plein, mais il est possible de les laisser sur la terrasse et de les accrocher à un arbuste.

Des pinces à linge seront rajoutées dans la location, car en effet, par jour de vent, ce peut être très utile. Le local vélo commun qui est mis à la disposition des habitants de l'immeuble est effectivement bien rempli. Lors de la dernière AG de la résidence, il a été demandé aux propriétaires d'enlever les vélos usagés des locaux pour faire de la place. Je me renseignerai auprès du syndic pour savoir ce qui a été fait dans ce domaine. Les vélos peuvent éventuellement être mis dans le couloir de l'appartement, la nuit, si le local commun est plein et sortis dans le rez-de-jardin le matin avec des antivols.

Location très agéable

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour, tout était parfait : l'accueil, l'appartement très bien situé, spacieux, très bien équipé et confortable, la terrasse ensoleillée dont nous avons bien profité. La plage à proximité est superbe, les petits commerces très pratiques, et c'est un endroit idéal pour faire du vélo sur les pistes cyclables.
