Classic Wrightsville Beach Cottage in incredible location

Classic Wrightsville Beach cottage located on Charlotte Street with incredible access to the beach as well as Wrightsville's restaurants and city center. Just two houses from the beach, the location affords ocean views from the expansive wrap-around porch, while WB's top restaurants, bars, and grocery store are just two blocks away The best thing about Charlotte Street is that, although it's extremely close and convenient to everything, it's also just far enough away to keep things quiet at night. Of course, it's also well-renowned to offer Wrightsville Beach's best surfing right out in front of the Station 24 access, just steps from the front porch.

The house was built in 1940 and retains virtually all of it's original classic, rustic charm, yet offers centralized AC, updated appliances in the kitchen, and a full size washer/dryer in the downstairs laundry room. There are four (4) bedrooms which include a downstairs 'master' with a king-size bed, and three bedrooms upstairs that feature two (2) queen size beds and one room with two (2) twin size beds that can be pulled together to make a king. There is one (1) bathroom downstairs which serves the master bedroom as well as downstairs house guests and a 2nd bathroom upstairs to serve the upstairs three bedrooms.

Of course, our guests typically spend most of their time outside on the expansive wrap-around porch which features multiple seating areas including a daybed and hammock. The Denon stereo receiver is connected to two outdoor speakers on the porch if you like to enjoy a few tunes while chillin' with friends. There is also a grassy, landscaped area in the backyard that is great for relaxing as well. We have a gas grill stored underneath the house that can be used for cookouts, and there is also a large outdoor shower underneath to rinse off the kids when you come in from the beach. There is also plenty of parking on site, as well as access to street parking on Charlotte Street.

Now for a few intangibles about the house: Our family lives in the area and we rent the house less than we use it for ourselves. We love it! Out friends love it! That said, please understand that it is a 1940 beach cottage that oozes with rustic period charm, and if you are looking for something newer with larger bedrooms and bathrooms, you would be advised to look elsewhere. But if you are looking for the quintessential old-school Wrightsville Beach experience, you cannot find a more perfect spot!
