One can either enjoy the soaker tub for relaxing or for the shower lovers, a beautiful rain shower awaits you. This has been both a pet and smoke free home.

The apartment was excellent and is well described in the photos on VRBO. Communication with the host and his co host was prompt and very useful.The location was very good for us …a 15 minute drive at most for many of the activities we undertook. Noise from people renting the upper unit was minimal. Overall an excellent rental compared to others that we have stayed at on Vancouver Island.

The location is great and quiet. The suite has everything you need and more for kitchen and laundry supplies. Gerry was a great host and checked in to make sure everything was going well.
Enjoyed our stay very much. Great location to get around in all directions. Quiet place. Does not feel like a basement suite at all. Would visit again!
We had an excellent stay - Gerry was a wonderful and accommodating host. The home was fully equipped with all the necessities and very clean and neat. We will be staying here again!
Amazing place - beautiful with everything you need for a great stay. Comfortable beds, full pantry, cooking supplies, etc. and Gerry is an enthusiastic host whom we enjoyed meeting very much. Convenient to historic Victoria but we had a car. Did not check out public transportation. Right across from a lovely nature preserve which we enjoyed. Also enjoyed the outdoor patio.Would definitely stay again!
This property is a 10/10 to stay. Gerry is a wonderful host and has thought of every little detail to make this a very comfortable, homey feeling place to vacation!

Excellently finished suite with all the amenities. Amazing host Gerry who went above and beyond to accomodate us. The accomodations are exceptional. Will return on future visits to Victoria and this a great place for large family group.
The accommodations were great! Plenty of amenities available to us including things not expected, even cream for the coffee! The outside space with the gas fire pit was a nice touch, which we enjoyed after a long day site seeing.The person to person greeting by the host, who gave us a tour and explained what was available to us, was a nice touch and very much appreciated.
Great place to stay, personal touches throughout. You can tell it is well taken care of. Amazing beds! Got a great night sleep in this cozy, quiet place. Wish we had more time to explore the sanctuary down the road.
I booked the suite as it appeared to be close to the Peakes arena where we were playing in a hockey tournament. It was a great quiet location, and easy access to the arena. It was well equipped, had sufficient parking and served our needs. I would definitely stay again.
Great 2-bedroom unit. Looks recently renovated, spotless clean and well stocked. From bedding (pillows and blankets) to all kinds of kitchen tools and gadgets, including various cooking basics (salt, pepper, spices and oils), plus various condiments. Best stocked place I’ve stayed at. Lots of closet space too. Tea, coffee and even fresh cream included. Everything you need for a relaxing stay. Would definitely stay here again.

10/10 for a sparkling clean apartment with the most fully equipped kitchen. BBQ and patio. Nature walk around lake just down the road. Close drive to shops. Kids playground a few minutes walk.
Comfortable beds (5th & 6th person, if applicable, are on a blow up mattress in living/dining).
Enjoyed our three nights.
Gerry has a lovely lower level space in a suburban neighborhood. If you like to cook, the kitchen was stocked with many spices, oils, coffee, and condiments making it much easier for visitors. Top notch materials throughout. Large windows keep it from feeling like a basement apartment.
We’ve stayed in many vacation rentals and Gerry’s place is hands down the most well stocked we’ve ever stayed in.
Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds and you cannot beat the location. Easy access to bike trails and the highway. Groceries 6 mins away. Gerry was a fantastic host. Thank you!
Everything went smoothly and we were very pleased with Gerry's VRBO premises. So many nice features and amenities, it was absolutely spotless and everything was modern and completely stocked. We brought our own breakfast meals and left for the days/eves and appreciated everything else we needed was there. First class all the way and as we were leaving, Gerry was completing a beautiful outdoor fountain and fire feature. Gorgeous spot, highly recommended. Thank you!!!
The property exceeded our expectations, and the owner went above and beyond to make our family holiday exceptional. Even accommodating us when we had to adjust our dates due to weather. The lower home is beautifully finished and well equipped with everything needed to prepare our holiday dinner. The beds were very comfortable and the space is large, warm and bright. Our first Christmas together with family after CoVid was perfect and enjoyed by all. Thank you Gerry.
The unit itself was beautiful a very lovely "Show home" As we had small children we were visiting it was not condusive to entertaining them at the unit which was a draw back for us only. I would however recommend the unit to my friends who have older family members to deal with. Thank you

Thank you for your review and kind comments as we do strive to keep it as beautiful as it was the first time it has been on VRBO. Over the past five years, we have hosted many families with small children from infants upwards, so I am at bit of a loss where your little visitors could not be entertained in the lower home, as there is plug covers available, corner guards for the glass table top and a play pen (upon request) for those wanting it. As well, there is a fabulous children's playground one block away and a lovely Swan Lake Nature Sanctuary directly across the street where many bus loads of school children visit to feed the wild birds and animals. It’s unfortunate that you didn't bring whatever worries you had to my attention during your 5 day stay, to allow an opportunity to address any concerns you may have had for your little visitors.. Again thank you kindly for your stay.
