Large 16th century house on two floors classified two stars by the Bouches du Rhone tourist office (former convent) with visible Fonvieille stones, rustic furnished located in the center of Arles, close to all shops and near the bullring. Free parking and video surveillance nearby (about 800m)
The house consists on the ground floor of a 25 m² living / dining room, a WC and a 4 m² equipped kitchenette
On the first floor, a large bedroom of 24 m², 140 cm bedding and a bathroom of 9 m² with shower and a toilet.
On the second floor a bedroom of 17 m² with two 110cm beds as well as a bedroom of 9m² with 140cm bedding. The house is sunny and friendly, functional to spend a most enjoyable vacation. Fully equipped. 6 seater garden furniture
Very pretty typical Arles house in the heart of the historic district of the city, you will stay in the center of the cultural places and major activities of the city. Located in a former convent, the Maison des Hautures can accommodate up to six people for a holiday in a friendly and pleasant place to live. About ten minutes will be enough for you to stock up because you have all the shops nearby, plus the best restaurants in town will delight you with their finest dishes. You will cross around nine hundred meters to get to the SNCF station and the bus station, and moreover if you can park your vehicle in the free car park and under video surveillance. Between the Rhône and historic monuments such as the arenas, the ancient theater and the forum, you will discover the magic of the place and the very special atmosphere of the city as well as its hidden charms. Clear, spacious and comfortably equipped with internet access, it will charm you with its semi-private outdoor courtyard to enjoy your aperitifs and meals with your family (note that the courtyard is not closed and therefore overlooked). Historic property in Arles

Property was very pleasant, clean and well equipped. Right in the heart of the historic old town part of Arles. Host was very helpful in proving guidance to getting to the property along with local restaurants and sights. A very pleasant experience!

An authentic Arles house in the heart of town

I loved this house! The location is wonderful - close to the historic center, patisserie, restaurants and grocery store. I felt like I was sleeping in a castle with the large stone block walls and the comfortable beds and sheets smelling so good. The stairs could present some difficulties for some people as they are narrow and spiral. Our host, Michel, speaks only French but if you know a little French you will do fine. Michel was very helpful with showing us where to park for free and where all the necessary stores are. The house was clean and had everything that we needed. I would stay here again if I'm ever lucky enough to be in Arles again.

Wonderful location in the middle of the old town. The host was very accommodating.

The host helped me find free parking which was great. The house is small, although we managed even with 6 people. The only difficulty was the stairs which are narrow and steep. Two of the three bedrooms are on the top floor and require you to be in good shape to get up there. On the whole we were very happy there.

agréable séjour

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette petite maison de caractère, idéalement située à 2 pas des arènes et donc proche des principaux sites d'Arles. Quel plaisir de pouvoir sortir après dîner, même avec des enfants, et profiter des illuminations... Pour la voiture, se garer devenant difficile et cher dans le centre même, Michel nous avait conseillé le parking de la gare, à à peine 10 minutes à pied de la maison, c'était très pratique. Notre hôte s'est montré par ailleurs très sympathique et prévenant.
