We have stayed here every year for the last 3 years and will continue for many more as long as the owner will have us for our yearly family fishing trip.
We had a great stay at this house on Lake Sakakawea. It was very clean and well appointed, and the views from the deck were amazing. Easy access to the lake, and the fire pit was a great addition. Highly recommended!
Home away home is accurate! Good fishing, long walks, relaxing patio overlooking the water…all that was much needed after a busy summer. Can’t wait to visit again!!
Great size, fit our extended family well. Beautiful views, easy walk to the beach for shore fishing, awesome fire pit area, good sized deck. We had several large vehicles including boat, so parking did get a bit tight but was workable. Overall, great property.
Once upon a time we use to own this cabin, it was great for us to see the original cabin in the house. We had such a great time reminiscing. It was a good stay!
Loved the deck with enough seating for everyone and the view that went with it! We also enjoyed the fire pit, the screened in porch and the nearby beach to play. If you are sensitive to musty smells you may shy away from the basement bedrooms as we did, having kids sleep on the floor of the main level instead.
It was a perfect property for our group of hunters. We had a place to come "home" to after a long day in the outdoors where we could eat and socialize all together. It was nice not having to eat out at a restaurant every night and not being confined to a small hotel room.
Spacious house for large groups. Easy access to shoreline. Parking can get tight if everyone drives seperate but it worked. Overall worked good for our fishing weekend.
Amazing view! The lake is beautiful, we swim every morning, paddle board, fish… the house has everything u need, the owners were incredible… love it! We will come back!
We loved the location…being on the water with plenty of space. The home had all we needed to be comfortable and able to prepare our own meals. Too bad the weather was not cooperative, as we did not get to enjoy the fire pit or deck furniture. We would stay again!
