I booked this for my wife and I, our two sons (2 & 5 years old), her dad and my dad. It was a nice secluded and quiet spot, and it had everything that we needed for our trip. Whiteface mountain was about 15-20 minutes away and Lake Placid about 25-30. Lana was a great host. Communication was easy and she made sure to show us the house and let us know where everything was.
This was a lovely stay in the Adirondacks. We needed a place that was handicapped accessible and this fit the bill. It was quiet and peaceful and Lana was very friendly and full of information. I might add that this was the best stocked kitchen in any place I've stayed.
We enjoyed the convenience of this location with local trails and a short drive to Whiteface. The property is set in a quiet location that is safe and easy to get to.
The place was awesome. Under some upgrades with construction but the place was to a T based on the description. Lana stayed upstairs and basically never even knew she was there. 20-25 minute ride to get to Lake Placid. Everything that is needed at the house is available. We had an awesome couple of days for our anniversary. Thank you Lana for everything.

This rental was well off the beaten path!
We stayed 3 nights, plenty of space for 3 couples or a family! The price was great. The construction that is underway wasn’t an issue, though I imagine that it will be so much better when it’s finished! We did not understand upon booking that it was an in-law suite we were staying in until a couple weeks before our arrival. At that point we couldn’t find anything else so short notice that was private, And could accommodate our group. To clarify I thought there was a separate cabin on the property we were booking instead it was a cabin/house and we had the bottom half with a separate entrance. Lana the host wasn’t a bother, but we could hear walking and vacuuming and typical noises above us for a shared area. All in all it was a beautiful space however having a quiet time of 10pm, and it not being 100% private would stop us from booking here again. The two thing I would have wanted to see changed would be softer mattresses, or mattress pads. (All the beds were super firm)! And for the second bathroom to be complete. Two showers would have been great! I gave a lower rating for location and neighborhood because it was so far away from what we set out to do for the weekend, and the neighborhood was a political crowd. A huge percent of the cabins around us had all the political signs up in their yards, for who they are voting for in the up coming election, and what lives matter. We were trying to escape the realty and chaos, and every time we drove back to the cabin we were quickly reminded of it all. Absolutely NO fault to Lana at all!!! She can’t control the neighborhoods yard decor but just thought we wouldn’t have so much of that in the middle of no where!
Great out of the way and splendidly quiet location. The property manager, Lana, was wonderful! She was extraordinarily kind and generous with helpful advice about local spots to look for whatever it was that we needed. The space was receiving extra renovations while we were there but what’s already been done was fantastic. Very modern space with nice touches and future guests will enjoy an extra two bedrooms and a single lane indoor pool!!
I had a great experience staying in Lana's apartment. It was very private and peaceful and everything I needed for a week away from the City. Especially thankful to be able to use the outdoor space and grill. The apartment was very large for just me and my boyfriend and could easily accommodate two couples or a family.
This was a wonderful stay for us- and it was SO clean. Given the covid circumstances, we felt very comfortable staying here. Lana was a brilliant hostess, and we loved having such a genial and kind caretaker onsite with us- and of course her dog as well! I would highly recommend staying here. There's a grill, it's quiet and green- what's not to like? :)

Great location
Had a very relaxing weekend in the woods. Very quiet area in close proximity to tons of adirondack adventures. We visited Ausable Chasm and climbed Jay Mountain. Lana was a great host and the apartment was clean, private and had all the necessities.
