Large living room (50 m2) with kitchen, dining room, lounge. Traditional construction in red wood, natural ventilation, comfortable. Beautiful landscaped tropical garden. Residential, quiet and green (tropical vegetation), ideal climate, 100 m above sea level. Decorated with care, can accommodate 2 to 6 people - 1 bedroom with 160 bed - 2 bedrooms with 2 twin beds 90. All equipped with mosquito net, fan, bath-tub, toilet, hair dryer. Mezzanine with sofa and cot.

Charming villa indeed!

A very nice, thoughtfully arranged and outfitted home. The large open kitchen and living/dining/balcony are very comfortable. Perfect for a family (like us) with the three en suite bedrooms. Great location too. A great stay all-in-all.

Loved Villa Ohe and would love to return. The only negative was that the septic tank is right outside the kitchen and main bedroom windows and it smells bad— especially at night

Thank you for your appreciation. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay in the Villa Ohé. Sorry for the fleeting odours you may have smelled at certain times. This is the first time that this happened since we bought the house in 2014. The septic tank was emptied just before you arrived. That's the probable cause. You should have contacted us immediately so that we could react quickly : we do our best to make our house as pleasant as possible. We are now on site and the problem is solved.

A very pleasant experience

We were a family of five and we stayed at Villa Ohé from 2/26 to 3/5/2017. Jean-Pierre welcomed us when we arrived and gave us all the instructions we needed to get rolling. The villa is located in an amazing spot with unobstructed views of the ocean and a beautiful sunset every evening. A bunch of friendly birds (i.e. not shy at all), including hummingbirds, are the attraction in the morning when they come to check for food in the feeders. The villa itself is perfect for a family. There are three nice individual bedrooms, each one with its own shower and the common living spaces are very spacious. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful porch, which has a large dining table and two lounge chairs. The whole house feels very "open" and we enjoyed the air flowing through the house rather than a raging A/C. BTW, the temperature at this time of year is very comfortable and there is really no need for A/C, to my opinion and taste. The WIFI connection was randomly working when we were there due to road works in the neighborhood. When it was working, it was fairly slow. Not a big issue as spending our time on Internet wasn't the plan but was a challenge sometimes to consult weather forecast or plan trips for the next day. Villa Ohé is 1 min away by car, 5 minutes on foot from Plage Leroux (i.e. a small beach), which is very pretty, not over-crowded and has great snorkeling. We saw sea snakes, squids, lion fish (~8 of them), trumpet fish, parrot fish and the coral is vibrant and healthy. Great spot! If you go on foot, be ready for a pretty steep walk back up the hill: great workout! Villa Ohé is 5 minutes away from Deshaies, which is a cute little town. If you've watched the BBC series "Death in Paradise", you'll recognize several spots. We felt that Villa Ohé was in a very good location, not far from Deshaies to enjoy several nice restaurants in the evening, not far from the Cousteau park (~20') and the National Park (~30') or the town of Basse Terre (~50'). We found that the Basse Terre island was very beautiful, not over-constructed like Grande Terre appears to be. So, we felt very close to beautiful nature and amazing vistas. Our only regret is that we had only one week and there are many things that we didn't have time to do. We definitely plan on going back.

Wir hatten einen wirklich tollen Aufenthalt! Die Beschreibung des Hauses hat absolut der Realität entsprochen – eher noch besser. Besonders begeistert waren wir von der wunderschönen Terrasse mit einem traumhaften Ausblick.Das Haus selbst ist sehr großzügig geschnitten, bietet viel Raum und lädt sofort zum Wohlfühlen ein. Man merkt, dass hier viel Wert auf Qualität und eine angenehme Atmosphäre gelegt wurde.Insgesamt ein wirklich tolles Objekt, das wir uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen können. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Maison très bien équipée avec une tres belle vue sur la anse de Ferry. On regrettera l'odeur très présente d'humidité/renfermé à chaque arrivée dans la maison (relicat d'une infiltration ?). Les coussins et la literie mériterait une remise à niveau.Sinon, très belle maison et tres bel emplacement. Tres bonne communication des propriétaires.

La petite odeur que vous avez sentie en entrant dans la maison est celle du bois rouge de la charpente, caractéristique des constructions traditionnelles de Guadeloupe. Comme l'avez sans doute remarqué, elle se dissipe immédiatement dès que les volets roulants sont ouverts. Concernant la literie, les besoins varient selon les personnes. Nous avons nous-mêmes passé récemment six semaines sur place. Nous ne manquerons pas de renouveler ce qui doit l'être lors de notre prochain séjour et allons prendre contact directement avec vous pour le préciser.

Vue exceptionnelle

C'était la raison de notre choix, Ainsi que les salles de douche et toilettes dédiées pour chaque chambre. Si vous aimez vivre comme dehors mais confortablement, la maison est pour vous, la vue à 180 degrés est fabuleuse. Le jardin est rempli d'arbres, de fleurs et d'oiseaux. La douche extérieure pour se dessabler, dessaler est un vrai plus. La maison est bien équipée en vaisselle, ustensiles et accessoires, y compris des jumelles pour observer dauphins et bateaux.Quelques petits bémols : nos voisines les abeilles, pas du tout agressives mais bien présentes et le four et les plaques impossibles à utiliser simultanément.Un bon rapport qualité prix que nous recommandons.

Nous sommes ravis que vous ayez pris du plaisir dans notre maison. L'apiculteur est intervenu dès que possible, mais après votre départ, pour déplacer les abeilles vers un lieu plus propice. Un endroit de rêve !

Si vous arrivez à vous extirper de cette très jolie maison avec son agréable jardin, sa vue incroyable sur la mer, ses petits visiteurs que vous pouvez regarder allongé sur une chaise longue ou un hamac (colibris, lézards et autres oiseaux), vous trouverez en bas de la rue une plage idéale pour tous ages, et un peu plus loin la charmante ville de Deshaies.Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette villa très confortable et bien équipée. Le seul défaut c'est qu'il faut partir à la fin du séjour !

Superbe séjour!

Maison idéalement placée à 2 pas de la magnifique plage Leroux. La maison est propre, bien décorée, bien équipée (il ne manque rien) et spacieuse. Impossible de se lasser de la vue mer! L’ouverture sur la terrasse donne l’impression d’être en immersion dans l’incroyable jardin qui entoure la maison. Nous craignions la chaleur et les moustiques… Aucun problème, grâce à la pièce principale qui est quasiment entièrement ouverte sur l’extérieur ce qui permet une bonne ventilation de la maison. Pour les moustiques, les ventilateurs et moustiquaires permettent une bonne protection. Bref, le séjour dans la Villa Ohé début mars 2024 a enchanté les parents, l’ado, le pré-ado et l’enfant!!! Du repos dans un cadre idyllique!

Superbe séjour

Nous avons passés un agréable séjour dans la maison de Geneviève et Cyril. Tout à fait conforme à la description., nous avons été charmés par le lieu, la jolie vue mer, les colibris, la nature luxuriante… même le chant intempestif des coqs n’a pas réussi à entamer notre moral. L’accueil a été chaleureux et les explications fournies très complètes et utiles. Nous recommandons cette villa.

... cette belle maison avec vue sur mer. Très bien équipée, spacieuse. L'architecture en bois est splendide même si l'odeur du bois est surprenante à l'arrivée. Il faut bien sûr être capable de monter les 500 m depuis la route principale, mais cela vaut vraiment le coup. A recommander sans réserves

Un endroit sublime!

Nous avons passé un séjour extra dans cette magnifique maison de type créole dans laquelle nous avons été très bien accueillies. Tout y était! Même les petits rongeurs, quelques insectes qui font partie de la vie tropicale.
