Nice appartment, perfect placement - in the centre and close to beach

The 2 balconys was nice, the kitchen well equipped, although the appartment was a bit old fashioned furnished. The bathroom with toilet is fine with a waskingmashine and there is a small seperat toilet and a shower in the main bedroom. The appartment is placed in the center of the city - in a short walking distance to restaurants, supermarket, daily market and the beach. However there is some noise in the two sleeping rooms towards the street and you need to keep the windows open as there is no aircondition. The appartment is however well equipped with curtains and darkness latters and markises in the living room to shade for the sun. A big plus that private parking is in the basement of the building as it is expensive in the city. Both owner and Corinne who delivers the key was very friendly, but is was nessesary to know some French as they spoke very little English. Also the information book was in French. We would definitely come back due to the placement and the spacious balconys.

Emplacement idéal - Appartement lumineux- Acceuil exceptionnel

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Biarritz et les environs. L'emplacement de l'appartement est parfait pour faire un maximum de choses à pied. La place de parking au sous-sol de l'immeuble est un réelle atout. L'appartement est lumineux et spacieux et très bien entretenu. Il est très bien équipé, il ne manque rien. Il est très agréable tout comme l'accueil de Corinne et des propriétaires. Un grand merci à eux qui nous ont permis de passer un séjour en toute sérénité. Nous reviendrons assurément. A très bientôt

Very nice apartment, ideally located

Title says it all... we very much enjoyed our stay here. The apartment is roomy, clean and comfortable. The location right in the center is great. A big plus is the availability of a parking place in the garage right in the building (big enough for our VW Touran and even a VW T6 would probably just fit in). So no need to worry about finding a parking spot in Biarritz. Check in and check out was friendly and efficient, communication before arrival and during our stay was always promptly answered.

Merci d'avoir trouvé l'appartement agréable. L'appartement étant en centre ville, il bénéficie effectivement des bruits de la rue plus intenses au mois d'août, lorsque les baies sont ouvertes. Par contre, les doubles vitrages retiennent bien les nuisances sonores quand les baies sont fermées.

Very nice apartment. Difficult communication with owner

2 days after arrival very loud construction noise (from 0830-1730) began on an upper floor of the building. We were out during most of the day so it was only an issue when we would return in the mid to late afternoon. Owner told us she was unaware of this project. Communication was impaired with owner (traveling w spotty internet availability) and with manager (Corinne)who spoke only French and relied on a word translator via text. She was extremely helpful however-picking me up in town when I arrived by bus and was dropped off on a city street instead of a bus station. On the day of our departure it seems we were expected to pay Corinne for the cleaning fee. Or, we could clean the apartment ourselves. This is a very different procedure-in the US, this fee is always included in the overall cost and a cleaning service does the work. I had asked the owner to waive the cleaning fee because of the noise but didn't hear back and then felt we had "stiffed" Corinne who was evidently also the house cleaner. Also tried to make arrangements to pay Corinne for the in town pick up but didn't hear back from the owner about a way to do that. As I learned from staying in two other apartments in France and Spain-travelers accustomed to having some supplies in the kitchen -condiments etc - hand soap in the bathroom-will be surprised to find these are not generally provided. For travelers staying in this apartment-speaking french would be a big help. ON the plus side, the view from the (small) balcony is wonderful and the apartment is very close to a fabulous market.

Excellent location for beach & restaurants. Very comfortable & clean.

We had a lovely stay in Biarritz. The apartment was clean & very comfortable. It was perfectly located for the town center & the beaches. Check in & out was easy although we had some language barriers as we don’t speak French. Definitely recommend this apartment for its convenience & location. Thanks Corinne for your welcome.

Central location with good access to town and beaches

The apartment interior has seen its best days but nevertheless good value for the money. Private parking was a necessity as we were travelling by car. The kitchen was good for preparing dinners ourselves. All bedrooms had good quality beds, bed linen could have been a little more modern, though. There was some level of self-service with beds on arrival and we were asked to remove the bed linen before leaving. The final cleaning price (60€) was not properly announced prior to arrival. We could have cleaned ourselves but who does that on a holiday. We were greeted with Corinne who showed us the garage and flat. We felt very welcome although we had a language barrier. We agreed on a departure time and she came at the time to check us out. Biarritz is a really nice and welcoming little town. The beaches are remarkable and there is some nice snorkeling to be done, if you so wish. The food market is 100m away and there are close to ten patisseries within 200m from the flat. Amazing.

We think it's confortable for people in holidays not to have to bring towels and bedlinen. These ones have been bought this season and are free of charges.... The final cleaning (by people or 60€ if it's made by Corinne) is usual for a location and it's announced on Abritel and in the contract.

Perfectly located apartment, close to beaches and center of town

The appartment is very well laid out, and in a perfect location in town, close to all three beaches, shops and restaurants. There are balconies on two sides, and double bathrooms in good condition, as well as a dishwasher and washing machine. Very convenient with parking in the building, should you arrive by car. Easy to deal with the owner and agency.

TRES BONNE SITUATION EN PLEIN CENTRE VILLE

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, l'appartement est très bien, grand, et son emplacement est idéal (bars, les halles, restaurants, plages, boutiques, carrefour...) juste un souci avec la fermeture des portes intérieures (WC, chambres, SDB) mais peut-être n'avons-nous pas bien compris le fonctionnement de celles-ci. Mais sinon super séjour et nous avons été très bien accueillies... Nous reviendrons c'est certain. Les quatre parisiennes.

Central et bien agencé

Appartement confortable et parfaitement équipé au coeur de Biarritz. Le prix à payer est le bruit environnant, sauf dans les chambres qui sont bien isolées.

La porte d'entrée possède deux verrouillages, un judas et une barre de sécurité. D'autre part la porte de l'immeuble au RdC est verrouillée en permanence et le hall d'entrée ainsi que le garage sont sous vidéo surveillance. Toutes les portes-fenêtres possèdent un verrouillage intérieur. Les volets roulants sont à commande manuelle comme dans beaucoup d'appartements. Pour l'esthétique de l'appartement, se référer aux photos.

Vivienda muy confortable

Es una vivienda muy confortable en pleno centro de la ciudad. Con vistas muy bonitas a los tejados y el mar. Está muy cuidada y muy limpia. Tiene una cómoda plaza de garaje para dejar el coche cuando llegas y no hay que volver a usarlo, porque el piso está cerca de todo: tiendas, restaurantes, bares y playa. Al lado hay un supermercado Carrefour muy bien surtido. Y también al lado está el mercado, con productos típicos de la región y abundante comida preparada. La conexión wifi funciona perfectamente. No hemos echado nada en falta en cuanto a equipamiento. Hay que llevar sábanas y toallas, pero hay abundancia de almohadas, cuadrantes, mantas y edredones. El dueño, Francis, en el contacto telefónico fue muy amable en todo momento. Y François, el encargado de entregar las llaves, es también muy amable y dispuesto a ayudar. Recomendamos sin duda esta vivienda
