Welcome to the House of travelers a newly renovated apartment in the charm of an Art Nouveau building in the Republic area, located on the 2nd floor.
The house can accommodate up to 4 people.
Composed of large living room with double sofa bed, flat screen TV corner, dining table, large bedroom with king size bed, separate kitchen with everything needed for cooking, bathroom with shower RENEWED IN JANUARY 2017, parquet floors.
Equipped with fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, Wi-Fi.
hairdryer, bed linens and towels, washing machine. Air conditioning.
The apartment overlooks a tree-lined street with little traffic, so it is very quiet and comfortable.
Our guests will find the need for a quick breakfast (coffee, various teas, jams. Biscuits) and many cold drinks in the fridge, a complimentary bottle of Italian wine.
Location:
Located close to Republic Square is a short distance from both the Via Montenapoleone in Milan that the new skyline. It 'a lively area full of restaurants, bars, shops and supermarkets.
For those arriving from the airports of Malpensa and Linate ORIO AL SERIO is 5 min. walk from the Central Station BUS TERMINAL
The apartment is a five minute walk from the Central Station and ten minutes. walk to the train station of Porta Garibaldi (Malpensa Express, Italo, and TGV railway link) and to Metro MM2, convenient to the Cadorna station and the Navigli district.
It 'also the direct line to reach the San Raffaele Hospital and the Forum of Assago.
A few minutes away is the stop line MM3 (Republic) gets you into the center and the Duomo-Montenapoleone-Via della Spiga.
Corso Como and Brera district are within walking distance in 10 minutes. Being close to the passer Porta Garibaldi you can quickly reach the new Fair Rho - Milan. Under the house there is a two tram lines that reach the Navigli area, Porta Genova and the area Lambrate

Riccardo patiently waited for us to find our way from Milano Centrale station. The apartment is very close to the station but we took a wrong turn so it took a little longer to find the place.Riccardo gave us tips on what to see and how to use the Metro and trams which we took advantage of. He’s a very nice and gracious host.The apartment is very convenient to stores and restaurants and centrally located. It was clean and large enough to accommodate three adults. It is on a busy street so be prepared for typical city noise. We kept the windows closed at night which helped.Overall I highly recommend Riccardo and his apartment if you are looking for a place to stay close to the main train station. Grazie Riccardo!

Perfect

This was the perfect apartment for a visit to Milan. Just a 10 minute walk from the very grand central station on a pretty street. It was clean, comfortable and very well equipped with a nice view from the balcony. We were welcomed warmly by Riccardo and Alessandra. This was our first time in Milan and they were so helpful providing information about trams etc just make our visit go smoothly. Plenty of reasonably priced cafes and restaurants nearby to eat after a busy day. I would very much recommend this property

We truly enjoyed our stay, the location is GREAT!

A quick walk away to the train, metro station. Made it so convenient to move around in Milan. The apartment is clean, safe, inviting and has all the accommodations needed. Grocery store steps away. This is a great place to stay when staying in Milan.

Great location and very comfortable space

We were in Ravenna for only three nights, and this was the perfect spot; close to the train station and also close to all the sites we wanted to see. The host met us at the apartment at our schedule time and check-in was very easy. There are plenty of good restaurants within walking distance, but we always had breakfast at home… the sofa in the main room is very comfortable as was the bed. Shower was great.

Riccardo and his apartment were fantastic. We needed to suddenly add a night to our stay and Riccardo was able to accommodate us. In addition, he met us at the train station and walked us to the apartment. There was a grocery store next door and incredible restaurants within a block or two. The Metro station was close by and the tram ran right by the apartment.

Great apartment, very close to the train station, market and many restaurants. Riccardo is a super host. Very helpful, nice to speak with and generous with his time. The only negative point, is that the street is noisy because of the tram.

Super clean apt walking distance to Milano Centrale

I rarely take the time to write reviews but this is absolutely the cleanest apt I have ever stayed in anywhere in the world. And the location is minutes to Centrale station. Well equipped with all essentials in a quiet safe neighborhood. Good dining options and bars. Very hospitable owner who even picked us up from the airport. Thank you Ricardo!!! We will be back.

Great location for our quick weekend visit to Milan. We arrived and left via train, and this apartment is very well suited close to the station. Very clean apartment. Loved having easy access to grocery store on on street level. We made our own breakfast. It was very nice to have a washing machine, as we were between trips. Highly recommend this apartment. Riccardo was a very pleasant host.

Great Location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property which is perfectly located for exploring Milan. We were met by Riccardo at the train station and he was extremely helpful explaining the nuances of the apartment. The apartment was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Thank you Riccardo and Alessandra for taking care of our request regarding minimizing scented products in the apartment. Overall we had great experience and we enjoyed our visit to Milan.

Strategically located, helpful host

Riccardo's place is very central. Walking distance to Milan central and Republicca metro stations; trams are just in front of the apartment building. A supermarket is also just downstairs. Riccardo's place is clean and well designed. Riccardo is very helpful and nice. He welcomed us in his apartment and show us everything in the apartment. He also recommended some beautiful places to visit and a great restaurant.

Great apartment

This apartment is very nice. The location is excellent just 3 minutes walk from the Central train station but an easy walk to the rest of the sites in Milan. It is also really close to the metro which we used a few times. The owner was great to communicate with and responded quickly. He also offered to meet us at the train station and show us where the apartment is located. The apartment is clean and the bathroom is great with good water pressure. The master bed is comfortable but we did not use the hide a bed so we cannot comment on that. Our only small issue was with the air conditioning. It is a portable unit and it needed to vent outside. To do this you have to leave a balcony door open about 8 inches to run the vent outside, so you are not able to use the AC at night if you want to close the balcony door. We chose to close the balcony door as there are mosquitoes that would come into the apartment. All in all this is a nice place.

Great little apartment near the Central Train

Because there is no parking in Milan, you will need to take public transportation. The two main subway lines (red and green) and the railroad station to the airport and most of the rest of Italy is a 5 min walk from this apartment. Because Milan was our first stop on the trip. We reserved a car for the END of the Milan portion of the trip and only used public transport in Milan. Worked great. The apartment sits on a quiet street (Fabio Filzi) which makes it great for sleeping. The owners are great -- Alessandra came right to the bust stop at the train station and walked with us to the apartment. She showed us how to use everything and gave us the keys. Couldn't be easier. Her English is excellent (since none of the 4 of us spoke Italian). The apartment consists of a master bedroom with a king size bed and a window A/C unit. The family room has a queen size sofasleeper. There is no A/C in the family room, but the window to the balcony can be opened as well kitchen window directly across to create a breezeway. The apartment is inside a secured building. There are keys for the outer door and a separate key for the apartment. We felt very secure and the apartment is on the 2nd floor so no one can climb in from the street. There is one very clean bathroom with a tub/shower unit. There is a very small galley kitchen, which was perfect for our use. There is a washing machine for clothes and a large refrigerator/freezer. We grabbed some food at the grocery store 100m away so that we could have breakfast and snacks. There is a charming Italian restaurant downstairs (Hi Frank!) which will also prepare a to-go pizza for you if you want to just eat in the apartment. Milan has a tram/trolley system, and the #4 tram goes directly in front of the apartment (the stop is 10m from the front door). It is super convenient for accessing Milan -- but you will hear the squeaking from the apartment (if that is a concern) -- it didn't bother us. You will walk some stairs to the apartment, and if you are going anywhere in Milan you will walk a TON of stairs. Just a warning, not a big deal for us. My requirements for a place are CLEAN and SAFE. This place definitely satisfies both -- as well as a cute, nice place to live for our stay in Milan. Riccardo checked us out on the last day. He is a very nice guy who plays the trombone in the world-famous Teatro Alla Scala (Milan Opera). We would definitely stay here again!!!!
