Cozy cottage features a farmhouse style kitchen with modern appliances and everything needed to prepare meals if desired. Soak in the antique clawfoot tub in the craftsman style bath or shower in the "out house" with hot and cold water. Relax on the front porch or chill at the back porch bar after a day at the nearby, beautiful springs.

Came along way for almost nothing!

I would love to give a positive review however I cannot. I drove 452 miles from Tennessee just to be told that I could not stay there because it was supposed to be blocked out. Thanks Vrbo working so hard. I did get a full refund and hotel accommodations for the night the next morning I had to rent an another place 34 miles outside of town, it would have been great for the owner to check his calendars or whatever he had to do to be in contact with me I have to say the only positive thing that he did was that he gave us a $50 gift card to a restaurant for our troubles. Thank you Vrbo for working so hard to fix this issue I wish I can say thank you to the owner about the accommodations Or should I say lack of accommodations.Please make sure to contact the host to make sure things are on the up and up.

Absolutely Perfect!!

Stayed here for a recent boating event on the Suwannee. Sure wish we had found this place earlier!! Everything with the house and stay was excellent. Communication with the host was second to none. We look forward to our next stay at la casita!! Thanks again to Mr. Barrette for allowing access to this wonderful property.

Private retreat

La Casita is a lovely place to get away from the hustle of life these days. Very close to Nature Coast Rail Trail which was the main reason we chose the area for bicycling. We also visited the Manatee Springs which is not too far. The accommodations at La Casita were superb and very comfortable. The host was wonderful and helpful as well I definitely will recommend
