This property located in Old Town FL situated between Manatee Springs and Fanning Springs on the banks of the Suwanee River. Ideal for kayaking, canoeing with boat ramp access steps away. You can also bring your boat (22' max) or kayaks with access to our dock. Greenway hiking and biking Trail nearby.
Fully equipped kitchen and full bath, TV's, DVD, internet, BBQ, fire pit, picnic table, awning. king size bed in Master Bedroom plus Queen self inflated air bed in Living Room. Watch your favorite sporting events and movies in our indoor Home Theater or on our outdoor TV fire pit area, just feet away from the bank. What a wonderful place to relax. So serene sitting along the Swaunnee River. The RV was very clean and comfortable. It was fantastic to get away for a few days and unwind. Couldn't have asked for a better place to enjoy the natural beauty.

John and Anne thank you so much for allowing us to stay. All of the kids had a great time and I enjoyed myself as well. The RV was perfect a nice big king size bed that all the kids slept in together and I slept on the mattress in the living room it was perfect! The scenery of nature was awesome loved the 10-minute drive to fanning springs and we enjoyed that outdoor pit a lot. This will stay on our list of places to visit again

The host provided very thoughtful service and was always responsive to our requests. This is an ideal retreat for seniors seeking a quiet vacation—it is a very tranquil, slow-paced environment. During the spring and summer months, however, visitors engaging in outdoor activities should take precautions against insects—specifically a type of red-headed fly whose bites can cause prolonged redness and swelling.

The ad was very misleading. RV was beautiful and the river was gorgeous but there is NO privacy because the RV sits between two houses, one being the host. It was very uncomfortable having the host 15 feet from the trailer. Very awkward. From the hammock by the river, you see houses, from spots on the porch, you see the houses. It felt like we were being watched. I am not saying they did, but that was the feeling with the proximity of the house to the trailer. We couldn’t really relax given the location.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are pleased that you enjoyed the RV and the river. We do, however, feel it is important to correct several statements in the review so that prospective guests have an accurate understanding of the property. First, the statement that the RV is “15 feet” from our home is incorrect. The RV is approximately 35–40 feet from the house, depending on the point from which the distance is measured. Additionally, the front of the RV and its porch face the river, not our home. From our house, we cannot see the front of the RV or the RV porch. We are particularly concerned about the suggestion that guests are somehow being watched. We do not watch our guests. We can see the general firepit area from our property, but we are very conscious of respecting our guests' privacy and make every effort to give them their space. It is also important to understand that this is a private riverfront property in a residential area, not a campground or a secluded wilderness retreat. There are neighboring homes along the river, many of which are also vacation homes. Portions of the surrounding homes and the riverfront neighborhood are visible from the property. Guests seeking complete seclusion and no neighboring homes may simply prefer a different type of vacation setting. We have been hosting this property for several years, and this is our first negative review. While we recognize that the setting did not meet your personal expectations, we believe the issue was one of preference rather than the property being inaccurately represented. We take our responsibility as hosts seriously and have always made guest comfort and privacy a priority. We also believe prospective guests deserve an accurate picture of the property, and we hope this clarification helps them determine whether a private riverfront home in a residential neighborhood is the experience they are looking for.

Weekend Getaway

We had such a nice relaxing time! It was the perfect place to rest and recharge. Loved having coffee while watching the sunrise over the Suwannee and really enjoyed watching a movie outside by the fire.

Great place to stay

Perfect Getaway on the Suwannee River

We had an absolutely excellent stay on the Suwannee River in a beautiful camper. The serene surroundings made for such a relaxing getaway. The host, John, was incredibly helpful and kind, going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for a perfect trip. My wife and I truly enjoyed our time here and are already planning to come back again. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat!

Wonderful vacation!

Fantastic location right on the Suwanee River! Very relaxing outdoor accommodations by the firepit overlooking the water. Inside the RV was clean, great air conditioning, and all the conveniences and comfort of home to include WiFi and streaming services on the TVs. Location was extremely convenient to multiple area attractions. Fantastic hosts who were a pleasure to meet. Great stay and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Perfect Riverfront Getaway – Can’t Wait to Come Back!

This place was absolutely amazing! The RV was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a perfect getaway. The location couldn’t have been better—right off the river with the most beautiful views! We loved spending our evenings by the fire-pit and taking advantage of all the outdoor activities. My wife Anne and I are both original city people. We moved to the scenic Suwannee for retirement to get away from the busy schedules we lived in the city. We are only a 45 min drive away from Gainesville Florida for the normal amenities of city life, if needed. We are also 10 min by boat to Fanning Springs upriver and 10 min by boat to Manatee Springs down river. Makes for a nice day trip. dinner and a movie afterwards by our outdoor theater.

Why they chose this property

I have been enjoying this area of the Suwannee River for the past 40 years. Hunting, Fishing, Skiing, Spring Diving. absolute rural beauty. No horn honking here.

What makes this property unique

Balance of Nature where you come to get out of daily city life and traffic. the nearest store is 5 miles away but takes 5 min to get there. .Amenities are few but relaxation is abundant.
