I was introduced to the region of Spain in 2004 and was very impressed with the area. It is really easy to get to, has sympathetic low density development in a beautiful rural conservation area and in the Mar Menor has a unique micro climate with well over 300 days of sunshine per year. Murcia is also rich in Spanish culture as evidenced by the traditional nearby town of Sucina which includes plenty of quality restaurants and bars. Murcia is also an up and coming region and is destined to become the Leisure Centre of Spain with the construction of Paramount Theme Parke in Alhama de Murcia, the largest biggest theme park in Spain.
