Charming Old Stone House Just 20m From The Beach, With Sea View Balcony

Rustica House is a charmingly renovated old stone house located just 20m from a pebbly beach with its aqua blue waters and in a quiet neighbourhood that makes it an ideal destination for a relaxing holiday.

It is located in the heart of the old town of Postira which is a quaint fishing village on the north coast of Brac, it is 500m from the restaurants and cafe bars on the harbour.

The house is tastefully decorated with period furnishings. It is set on 2 floors with the double bedroom with its original exposed old stone wall on the first floor. There is a small balcony off this bedroom. A twin bedroom with 2 single beds is also on this floor.

Up a set of internal stairs to the top floor is a large open plan living dining kitchen room that opens out onto a balcony with great views over the rooftops around and the sea of the Brac channel and mountains of the mainland in front. The sofabed in the living room is suitable for 1 child.

The main covered eating terrace is on the first floor and boasts views of the surrounding area, the sea and mountains in the distance.

This property is ideal for the guest wanting to enjoy the authenticity of an old stone cottage whilst having the beach (almost) on their door step and the conveniences of great authentic restaurants and local shopping and cafe bars just a short walk away.

Getting to Brac: Take the car ferry from Split harbour. Split harbour is 20 kilometres from Split airport. The crossing takes about 50 minutes.

You can book your ferry tickets on the ferry line website or buy them at the ticket office on arrival.
If you book online you have to enter a ferry time but the tickets are valid for any ferry on the day. For Supetar you can't book a place for your car on a specific ferry.

The cost of a one-way ferry ticket for a car up to 5m in length is 26,10 Euros. Adult tickets are 6,50 Euros, children between 3-12 years old pay 3,20 Euros. Children under 3 years old travel for free.

Sind schon zum 3. Mal hier und finden dieses kleine Steinhaus total liebenswert. Unser Hund liebt die kleinen Balkone zum runter Bellen. Lage ist super, wunderschöne Strände in Gehdistanz und leckere Gastronomie im Ort. Wir kommen sicher wieder!

Kuća se nalazi na minut peške od mora i manje kamene plaže. Prelep pogled sa terasa. U pitanju je dupleks, *apartman* (!) - iz opisa oglasa smo mislili da se izdaje cela zasebna kuća, a zapravo ima komšije (drugi apartman) u prizemlju i sa bočne strane. Prostrana, lepa kuhinja, sa prelepim pogledom na more i brda. Sve je bilo prilično čisto. Toaleti bi mogli biti renovirani, pošto se vrata donjeg toaleta ne zatvaraju kako treba, i voda u tuš kabinama ne prolazi dobro. Kontakt sa zaposlenima u agenciji je bio vrlo dobar, uvek su dostupni, i dozvolili su nam da uradimo Check-out kasnije od propisanog, jer nisu imali nove goste tog dana. Generalni utisak je 8-9/10! Za preporuku! :)

Bezauberndes kleines Steinhaus

Wir waren so positiv überrascht von dem kleinen Steinhaus, es war in der Küche alles vorhanden was man zum Kochen braucht. Die Zimmer sind klein aber total nett eingerichtet, so als würde jemand immer darin wohnen. Auch die Umgebung ist traumhaft schön, der erste Blick am Morgen auf das Meer in ca. 50 m Entfernung, kleine Gässchen die zum Erkunden der Stadt einladen. Nette kleine Geschäfte und tolle einheimische Restaurants mit super Küche. Wir können dies zu 100 % weiter empfehlen und wir wissen wovon wir reden, denn wir sind Kroatienkenner!!!!

Relaxing pur!

Wir sind als Familie mit 2 Teenagern angereist. Das Haus war mit Anfahrtsbeschreibung gut zu finden und bei unserer Ankunft sauber. Der Kontakt zur Agentur war sehr freundlich und während des ganzen Urlaubs reibungslos. Es gibt keinen Parkplatz direkt am Haus, wir haben daher direkt am Strand geparkt (kostenlos, allerdings etwas Glück nötig). Die Ausstattung ist ok, je Schlafzimmer eine Kommode für Kleidung. Die Einrichtung der Küche ist eher auf das Nötigste beschränkt, aber das Kochen von kleinen Gerichten war trotzdem möglich. Die Bäder sind in Ordnung, jeweils Toilette und Dusche sind vorhanden. Ein absolutes Plus ist die Lage, sehr dicht am Strand (nur ein paar Meter), auch der Weg zum Hafen beläuft sich nur auf ein paar Gehminuten. Die Gegend ist sehr ruhig, ein absoluter Vorteil wenn man Erholung sucht. Auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Ein kleines Manko war die Klimaanlage, diese befindet sich lediglich im Obergeschoss und erreicht die Schlafzimmer nicht, hier stehen jedoch Standventilatoren bereit (trotzdem waren die Nächte sehr heiß, für uns Nordlichter sehr ungewohnt). Letztlich hatten wir einen sehr erholsamen Urlaub, die Lage ist top und über die (wirklich kleinen!) Defizite sieht man dann gerne hinweg. Gerne wieder!

Hübsches Ferienhaus

Das kleine Ferienhaus in Postira liegt sehr schön mitten in der Altstadt. Von den kleinen Balkonen hat man einen sehr schönen Blick aufs Meer. Es gibt neben den 2 kleinen Balkonen mit Meerblick noch einen größeren überdachten Balkon, auf dem man gut zu viert sitzen kann. Die Küche ist sehr einfach (2 Kochplatten, kein Backofen, wenige Küchenutensilien) und im Haus gibt es nur wenig Stauraum für mitgebrachte Kleidung. Dennoch ist das Haus sehr hübsch und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Strandnähe ist toll, in der Nachbarschaft kann man gut einkaufen und alles zu Fuß erledigen. Die Agentur ist sehr hilfreich und unterstützend und auch jederzeit erreichbar. Wir waren insgesamt von unserem Urlaub sehr begeistert und haben uns gut erholt.

Beautiful house and location

We had a wonderful time in Postira as it was everything we wanted - a tranquil location with fabulous views. The house is well equipped and had everything we needed - we were surprised to find a separate full size freezer, great for freezing bread and getting drinks extra cold! Be aware that there are no wardrobes in this property, just coat hangers on the doors - fortunately we travel light so this wasn't a problem for us. The bedrooms have floor standing fans, upstairs living area is air conditioned. The harbour has a great selection of restaurants surrounding it to suit all budgets and the people were very friendly and spoke English - although we did put the little Croatian we had learnt to good use! We discovered (on the last night - how did we miss it!!) that there was a place down by the harbour (where they offer boat trips) where you could buy wine if you brought your own bottle/container. What we liked especially was that there were numerous small beaches (all shingle) instead of one large one - the water was absolutely crystal clear, even in the harbour! If you're looking for somewhere to unwind - swim, read books and enjoy that really cold beer - this is the place.
