Either you want to ski or to practice extreme sports or just enjoy a peaceful time in a real moutain place, le Chalet de Simon offers you an upmarket accomodation.

This freshly renovated chalet with its terrace offers all the comfort needed in a peaceful environment with a stunning view over the valley. Designed for 5 persons, it can accommodate up to 7 persons.
During summer or winter time, with the sunny terrace you can share nice moments with inspiring views over la Vallée de la Tarentaise.

Ideally located in the peaceful "La Millerette" village, it is only 100 meters walking distance from the funicular mid station "Les Granges". This funicular links the train station Bourg Saint Maurice to the Arcs 1600.
It takes 3 minutes with the funicular from les Granges to reach Arcs 1600 , part of Paradiski ski resort, second largest linked skiable domain in the world.
Different slopes allow also to go back to the Chalet by skiing.

Also before reaching the mid station Les Granges, there is a slope for beginners and children. Ideal place for the first moment on ski for your child or for toboganning competition !!
Different trails and marked trails also start from this place.

Travelling with a baby ? Take it easy . Le chalet de Simon has all the nursery equipments needed for the baby comfort and parent's one !

We were eagerly looking forward to staying at Le chalet de Simon for months, and it did not disappoint. The place was very clean & well appointed. There are 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, & a main living / kitchen area with all the essential appliances. Outside there’s a large table & bench. The chalet has very good WiFi & a wall mounted TV. There are plenty of radiators for heating. A large sliding door and 3 additional windows which can be opened to cool and ventilate the place on warmer days. All beds were very comfortable, with room enough for up to 4 adults & 1 child/teen (bunk bed). There is a futon in the main living area which could sleep an additional 2, however I believe that would make the place too crowded. The chalet is conveniently located near the Funicular stop, Les Granges, just a short 3-minute stroll across the main road (D119) that goes up to Les Arcs 1600. It’s a 7-min drive down to Bourg Saint-Maurice or take the Funicular. Plentiful parking is available at the Funicular car park across the road from the village. Then there’s the view. What a view! It will forever be etched in our memories. I recall returning from the slopes after a long day skiing, lying on the futon looking out as the sun slowly set over the snow-peaked Alps. The smell of the fresh mountain air, and the absolute serenity of the silence only broken by the occasional chirping of birds. Le chalet de Simon! Words cannot describe it, so you’d better go see for yourself. Enjoy!

Emplacement idéal. A deux pas de la station intermédiaire du funiculaire, ce qui offre un accès tres simple aux pistes des Arcs 1600. Un super séjour dans ce magnifique coin de montagne

Nous avons passé de très beaux moments dans le chalet de Simon, très bien équipé et agencé avec ses 2 chambres et ses 2 salles de bains, idéal pour notre groupe d'amis. En bonus, la vue est incroyable depuis la terrasse pour profiter du calme de ce hameau au pied des Arcs. Excellent séjour au "chalet de Simon" situé dans un hameau entre Bourg saint Maurice et les Arcs 1600 à proximité du funiculaire. La vue depuis le chalet est fantastique ! Le chalet est très fonctionnel, très bien aménagé, spacieux, facile d'accès et au calme. Nous avons apprécié pouvoir profiter de la station de ski très facilement sans ses inconvénients. Gîte très confortable et très beau, parfaitement équipé, propre et idéalement situé pour le ski : à 2 minutes à pieds du funiculaire pour être directement sur les pistes. Seul bémol : pas de commerces à proximité, mais tranquillité assurée et vue magnifique. A louer hiver comme été!

El alojamiento fue reservado a última hora y obtuvimos una rápida respuesta del propietario, que en todo momento se mostró muy atento. Lugar increíble para relajarse, desconectar y pasar unos días disfrutando de lo increíble del entorno y sus posibilidades. Apartamento cómodo y muy bien equipado con una terraza/mirador que te da la vida. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour au chalet de Simon. Il est idéalement situé pour tous types d'activités et très bien équipé. Le hameau de la Millerette est charmant et les habitants très sympathiques. Le seul bémol est que le chemin devant le chalet, entre le chemin et la terrasse, est un chemin communal donc partagé et en période haute il peut y avoir beaucoup de passage si beaucoup de chalets loués au même moment. Mais nous recommandons vivement. La vue de la terrasse et du chalet est splendide. Les propriétaires sont joignables très facilement. Tout y est pour passer un excellent séjour !

la Chalet Simon est situé dans un superbe hameau de montagne, à 100 m du funiculaire, il dispoe d'une terrasse ensoleillée avec une vue magnifique sur la vallée. Le chalet est très très bien équipé et nous avons passé un excellent séjour avec nos enfants qui ont pu profiter du snowboard à Arcs 1600 (montée en funiculaire) et de la piste situé derrière la chalet pour luge et igloo ! Nombreuses balades aux alentours du hameau Nous reviendrons !

Une très bonne semaine au Chalet de Simon

Nous avons eu la chance inouïe de passer cette semaine à La Millerette, adorable hameau où se trouve le chalet, juste avant la fermeture des stations en raison du contexte sanitaire... Tout était parfait, et Carolina et Benoît se sont révélés être des hôtes très attentionnés. On croise les doigts pour avoir l’occasion de renouveler l’expérience... Merci !

After living abroad, we are currently living in France.

Why they chose this property

During our many trips in Europe, Africa and South America, we had chance to be accommodated in nice places. It has participated to keep good memories about our holidays.
When we had the opportunity to become homeowner of this chalet where we spent all our winter holidays, it was obvious for us to renovate it in such a way that our future occupants will keep good memories of their stay at Le chalet de Simon and make them feel like coming back again :)

What makes this property unique

Enjoy a huge ski resort and at the same time be in a peaceful area.
The south-facing terrace and chalet have the full benefit of the sun.
It's not necessary to have a car during winter season to enjoy your holidays.
Le chalet de Simon position allows to be close to the main activities during winter season and during summer season (moutain biking, canyoning, kayaking...)
