Well-appointed suite, one block from the St Charles Streetcar line. Rode the streetcar to Canal Street and then walked into the French Quarter. Loyola, Audubon Park and Carrolton restaurants the other way. Full-service grocery (Fresh Market) also just a block away. Within 10-minute walk of Magazine Street restaurants and shops (ate breakfast and dinner at a different place every day). Great 4-night stay.
We loved this place and the neighborhood. Friendly people and impromptu concerts in the parking lot!
Especially appreciate the host letting us change our reservations when a family member became ill. Would definitely stay here again.
The New Orleans suite is a gorgeous space in an incredible home, location a short walk from the st.charles street car for an easy and charming ride to the quarter or CBD. Del and Trena we're very responsive and accommodating. The space was comfortable and had everything I needed for a 5 night stay.
The suite was clean, comfortable and perfectly located for Jazzfest. Several great restaurants within 5 minutes, short walk to either the bus or the ST Charles streetcar line.
The hosts were available to answer questions for me as I was planning the visit.
Easy to get to. Cute place. Good for a couple - easy access to street cars if you like and a nice grocery store within walking distance. Nice neighbors.
The house is spectacular and only one block from St. Charles where all the parades happen! Really comfortable bed and furniture. Very very clean. The hosts were extremely professional and accommodating. If you are going to Mardi Gras especially, this is The Perfect Place!
Came down to NOLA to celebrate my boyfriends birthday and New Years. Was not disappointed! Location is great, only a 3-5 minute walk to the St. Charles cable car and the ride to all the action was 20 minutes or less away. Convenient and affordable way to experience the city. Parking was great and right outside the house. The place was super clean and comfortable and everything was fantastic! Highly recommend and would stay here again!
Amazing home! Had such a wonderful visit. 3 minute walk to catch to cable car. 20 min walk to restaurants through a beautiful neighborhood. Gorgeous kitchen, huge master bath suite with dual shower and separate jacuzzi tub. King bed with soft Italian sheets. And a small music room with lots of jazz to listen to. If you stay anywhere else, it wont be as nice this home.
If you're seeking to really experience Nola in a neighborhood, you need to stay here. The home itself is nothing short of majestic, a stunner that is beautifully preserved and decorated. A short walk to the oldest continuously running street car line in the world, the St. Charles line, easily takes you around town. We used The Fresh Market grocery, and recommend going to the hot deli and picking up their rotisserie chicken dinners, as everything is ready to eat and it works well with the set up of the mini fridge and microwave in the suite. The suite itself is thoughtfully decorated, with artful delights at every turn. Amenities were plentiful and as described, and the bed was comfortable. As someone who managed a VRBO for nearly a decade, I can attest that this is a spotless unit as well. Thank you Del and Trena for an unforgettable stay in a magnificent home!

Wrong code on door. Instructions to open the door not very clear. Door handle very loose and not sur which way to open the door. Door lock should be fixed and instruction to use the door code should explained properly.
The location was convenient to catch the Charles St Trolly or walk to Magazine St. We were concerned the first day, because after we had been at the apt for a little while, we went out to move our car closer and there was someone looking through the windows to see if there was anything in the car. (Nothing happed to the vehicle while it was parked on the street.) The picture of the rooms had a sofa and a coffee table. The room had a sofa and a dining room table with four chairs. You could not use the chairs because when you sat in them, you felt like you were going to go through the seat. The only other thing was to watch TV your only opotion was to sit on the bed. Just not comfortable. We were out early and not evening partiers so the set up could have been better for us. The place was clean, easy to get to and easy to travel from.
When we arrived our door code didn't work and neither did the contact phone number. Luckily we met some other folks staying in the building that gave us the phone number for a different property manager that was very responsive and fixed the problem quickly. The home has all the historic charm you expect from architecture in New Orleans and the location is just 1 block from the St. Charles Streetcar line, which will take you downtown and into the French Quarter in 15-20min. Magazine Street is also within walking distance and has a variety of great shops and restaurants. Would stay again!
