Located in the heart of the old village of Bonneval sur Arc ranked among the most beautiful villages in France, away its thick stone walls, under its heavy slate roof, "The barme" you will taste the atmosphere and charm bonneval old farms. its stone decor and old larch, his furniture and antiques will make the decor of your living room.
In the spring you will discover the tender green of larches, the blossoming of the alpine flora and the cry of marmots.
In summer it is the kingdom of the hike for beginners that can reach the departure of high-altitude walks by cheating a bit with the car to the Col de l'Iseran. It's also fun getaways in Italy (40 km) via the Mont Cenis. And why not give the hand to the hay?

Perfect!

What a beautiful place to stay! My three children and my daughter's boyfriend stayed at La Barme for a week's skiing. The house was marvellous, homely, had everything needed for a peaceful and well-looked after stay. Jean-Yves and Aline were on hand via text or phone when we needed help with something, like getting more logs for the stove. Our bedrooms were clean and tidy, with comfortable beds and large wardrobes. There were sockets in each room for charging phones overnight. We spent a delightful time at the gite, with our friends visiting for dinner - the large dining table and living room were comfortable for all 11 of us! I would highly recommend staying here. :)

Très bien située dans le vieux village. Chalet ancien avec beaucoup de charme. En contre-partie, moins de lumière, et moins d'isolation sonore. Malgré ça, excellent endroit, à réserver bien à l'avance (12 mois) pour la haute saison.

Le village et le gîte sont authentiques et le charme opère dès notre arrivée. Le contact avec le propriétaire est excellent et la description du logement est conforme. Je recommande vivement cette location.

Maison lovée au sein du vieux village de Bonneval avec beaucoup de charme

Ce séjour avec nos enfants et un couple d’amis nous a permis de nous évader surtout dans cette période compliquée... C’est une vieille maison typique au sein même du village idéalement placée avec les commerces à côté..., Le tout a un charme fou surtout en cette période de « fêtes », on se serait cru au bout du monde avec ces toits et ces ruelles enneigées vue des fenêtres... Le lieu est propice aux promenades dans la neige... L’absence de remontées mécaniques nous a permis de découvrir une autre montagne :chien de traîneau à Bessans , ski de randonnée, de fond ,raquettes La maison est très confortable et bien équipée, elle n’est pas très grande mais très bien agencée :nous étions huit et avions l’impression quand même d’avoir de l’espace , les lits sont confortables et la maison est bien chauffée avec une cheminée en prime..La maison a un aspect très chaleureux , avec sa coursive en bois, son salon , ses murs en pierres .... Cela n’a rien à voir avec un chalet avec vue sur les montagnes mais plus un nid douillet au creux du village. Le seul bémol est la taille des chambres :à part une grande chambre, les autres sont vraiment petites , surtout la chambrette du rez-de-chaussée qui est plus une « cabine« qui convient surtout à des enfants. Cela ne nous a pas empêché de passer un très bon séjour!

Merci pour cette appréciation. Malgré les contraintes de la restauration de cette ferme typique, nous avons privilégié les espaces de jours par rapport aux chambres qui restent dans les normes de volume et de surface. vous restez bien évidemment les bienvenus à La barme.

Quintessential Alpine Stay!

We had an amazing time in this beautiful, ancient lodge. So authentic and so cozy! Everything was excellent, and Jean-Yves was a terrific host who responded quickly to some minor needs that arose. We would love to stay again if we make it back to Bonneval-sur-Arc.

Chalet chaleureux, confortable et très propre

Nous avons passé une très belle semaine en famille. Le chalet est spacieux, chaleureux et avec tout ce qu'il faut pour passer de bons moments ! Cheminée, cuisine bien équipée, machine à laver séchante, ... Le village de Bonneval est également très beau, je conseille vivement !

Nous avons passez un excellent séjour familial. Tout ce qu'on aime. Le chalet est idéalement placé dans le magnifique et authentique village de Bonneval. L'intérieur est très bien décoré et parfaitement équipé. Nous nous sommes sentit à la maison tout de suite. Rien à redire si ce n'est la literie d'une des chambres ( la petite chambre du haut), qui a rendu nos nuits un peu difficile... Quoi qu'il en soit nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir à la Barme.

Un nid douillet qui sent bon le mélèze

Nous avons passé une semaine merveilleuse dans ce gîte authentique merveilleusement aménagé . Après des journées en plein air dans une nature somptueuse et enneigée, revenir au chaud au milieu des pierres et du bois de mélèze, fut chaque soir un grand plaisir, un temps apaisant dans une atmosphère à la fois très cosi et locale. Le confort et l'équipement sont "top" , le cadre est plein de charme. Nous n'avions vraiment pas envie de repartir .....
