Located in charming historic shipbuilding colonial town 40 minutes south of Boston, this home was meticulously refurbished in 2011 down to the finest details. Perhaps the most photographed house in Duxbury, it is an icon of historic New England. Two master bedroom suites and one guest room with children’s play/sleeping loft all overlooking water and with en-suite baths, . Located in the center of Duxbury, walk everything, including Maritime School, French bakery, Art Center, beautiful 7 mile ocean beach. LR, DR, kitchen all with coffered ceilings feel Iike being onboard ship. Two car garage. Charming front courtyard and windowboxes. Backyard completely private with hammock and after-dinner fire pit at waters edge, as well as dock with kayaks and standup paddleboards. Perhaps most engaging aspect of house is large back deck “overhanging” bay with cocktail, dining and reading areas, grill and hot tub, shaded by green canvas awning with dropdown siding for inclement weather.
