About this property

Private gated family style compound 2 to4 Casitas with pool minutes to beach!

casacascadacerritos (waterfall house) est. 2013 boasts almost one acre of lush tropical gardens, many palms, cacti, indigenous plants with fruit trees and just a short 8 minute walk to a pristine white sand beach. Our securely gated, fenced and private property is surrounded by bougainvillea and is located on a quiet dead end street surrounded by basil and pepper fields.

You can enjoy a completely private oasis. There are four private individual Casitas. each with separate entrances and fully loaded kitchens and private bathrooms. The price will be modified for less than the 4 casitas.

The View Casita offers stunning views, a king sized bed, and a pull out couch.

The Pool Casita has two queen sized beds and a pull out couch, and is just a few small steps to the pool.

The Garden Casita features one queen bed, and one pullout. It is connected to the pool deck and the Secret Garden for lovely outdoor dining.

The Palm Casita has a queen sized bed and a pullout couch. It is located upstairs in a private and quiet corner of the property.

The central feature of the property is a solar heated pool with waterfall and pool bar. The roof deck of the main house which is open to all, has a fantastic 360 degree view including beach, ocean and is of the best places around to watch the whales and amazing sunsets! Each Casita comes equipped with a full kitchen, living rm. full bath with sundries. LED T.V. Netflix, WIFI.

Guests are met by our property manager who lives just a few minutes away and will familiarize you with the property and surrounding area.

Beautiful Private Oasis for a Group Vacation

This property envelopes you in beautiful palms and flowers and the sounds of birds while you relax with friends by the pool or wake up in your private accommodations. The perfect place for a group/family gathering. The pool is very well maintained and comfortable temp, the casitas have everything you need including super comfortable beds. Plus great location 10-15 minute drive on back road to Cerritos beach. Magical place! Fantastic hosts!

We brought our extended family of 11 (ages 5-78) for the 2025 Christmas - New Years holiday. We loved Casa Cascada! We rented the entire compound for our large group and each family was able to have their own unit and share the common spaces. Cada Cascada is beautiful - the lush gardens are gorgeous and created ample shade and privacy. We lived in the pool and outdoor eating/seating areas - many beautiful sunset happy hours from the gorgeous rooftop. The neighborhood beach is a short 10 minute walk and we also enjoyed Cerritos Beach several days (good walking & swimming). Tons of whale watching/sighting, sandcastle-building, and swimming/bodyboarding. Cynthia, the property manager was very responsive and answered all of our questions/inquiries - Marcus & Kaari (property owners) were are very helpful and resourceful. If you’re looking for a quieter/laidback spot to enjoy family and food and the beautiful landscape and area, we recommend Pescadero and Casa Cascada.
