"JUNIOR'S PLACE" Peaceful & Private, 2 blocks to beach - LOW PET FEE

This renovated beach cottage is just two short blocks from the public access to the beach. The living space is 576 square feet plus a large screened-in porch. Partial ocean view from the porch. The cottage is located in a quiet residential area a short drive from the boardwalk. Linens and towels provided. Fully equipped kitchen with range, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, coffee makers, can opener and all glassware, dishes, cookware, and utensils. Washer and Dryer.

Spectrum Internet and Cable TV, Ruko TV with multiple free movie channels, and a soundbar audio system.

Junior's Place is a cozy beach cottage that gives our guests the "good old days at the beach" feel, clean and comfortable.

The cottage was built in the early 1960s as a typical beach house for the time. 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom- no closets. It was totally renovated in the summer of 2018 with new wiring, plumbing, bathroom fixtures, kitchen cabinets, appliances, drywall, insulation, windows, flooring, and a Ductless Heat/AC unit. Due to the lack of closet space, we have provided plenty of hooks, hang bars, and storage cubes.
The screened porch is a wonderful place to hang out and relax with a partial ocean view. There is an outside shower in the back of the house for cleaning up after a walk to the beach and hooks on the porch for wet towels, beach toys, etc.
The backyard has room for badminton, volleyball, corn hole toss, etc.
It's a great little place and we know you will enjoy it.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights
Don't remove mattress pads or pillow protectors unless soiled. Leave bedspreads and blankets folded on the bed unless soiled.
Wash any used dishes. Please vacuum the floors if your pet has been shedding excessively (the vacuum is in the laundry room).
Sign out of any app you signed into on the television. Leave the key on the dining table and leave the front door unlocked. Text me at 336-259-1693 when you depart.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Up to 2 pets for $60 non-refundable fee. Max of 1 over 50lbs. If your pet will be on the furniture or beds, PLEASE bring covers for them to rest on.
Smoking is allowed on the porch only and butts disposed of properly. ***If I smell weed in the house you will forfeit your security deposit***

Thanksgiving Weekend Get-A-Way was excellent. Nice property, quite, really close to the beach and only 30 minutes from Wilmington attractions. Super stay for our dog, Scout, too!

Nice small cabin a very short, direct walk to the beach access. Rental was very clean, and had decent kitchen accessories for cooking. Easy to find, and owners live in another house on site in case there are problems.

Weekend Getaway

It was a nice little house! All the room we needed since it was just my husband and our 2 dogs. Wonderful location to the beach and restaurants. Communication was quick and easy. I would definitely stay again.

Wonderful little house, perfect for the two of us and our dog. Property owner was friendly and made it easy to come and go. They left a book with some excellent food recommendations while we were there. Only thought is that some new pillows would be nice - the ones there were a bit past their prime.

Second time a charm

This made our second year staying at Juniors Place. This place is just right. Everything you need is pretty much within walking distance. Food, entertainment, and most of all the beach. I have recommended Junior's Place to friends. Will stay here again.

The property is in an ideal location. The owner lives next door, so there's no need to worry about any possible issues. Beds are comfy, the shower works great, and there's even an outdoor shower to wash off the sand before entering the house. The house is equipped with everything you'll need, but there's not much "extra" provided as with other places we've rented. Just bring all your own games and snacks. This is a great place to bring your dog, unfortunately ours passed away on day 4, which took the joy out of our experience. Overall this is a really nice place that the pictures don't do it justice.

What a gem!

We stayed at Junior’s Place for spring break and it was perfect! Super clean, cold AC, porch for drinking coffee, comfy beds and couches and bug free! It was just a quick 2 min walk to the end of the street to the beach. So easy!! I will definitely book here again!

2nd time staying here

My sisters and I rented this property in 2019 for a girls weekend. We enjoyed staying there so much that we turned our trip in 2020 to a girls week. The property manager was SO helpful and communicated often as we navigated through the pandemic travel restrictions. The cottage is cozy, clean, and close to everything as described. I especially love hearing the ocean while relaxing on the porch. We’ll be back again for sure.

Junior’s Place is wonderful!

The description of Junior’s Place and the really good reviews are 100% accurate! This place was perfect for the two of us & our 2 dogs. We LOVED the porch & the “low key” chimes! So relaxing! You can hear the ocean from the porch! Everything you need is close by, and the beach really is just two blocks away! Yay! The hosts Anita & Greg are great! We will be back!

Good location, great value

It's close to the beach! There are barking dogs in the area BUT they did not bother us at night. The screen porch is great for relaxing and enjoying the ocean breeze. No sidewalks but they are currently working on the roadway so maybe some will go in. Ideally there would be a railing on the screen porch steps for those who are not physically fit (there is one for the front door-no prob there.)

Why they chose this property

This beach house was bought by the owner's parents in the 1980's as investment property. The owner inherited the property and decided to fix it up and bring it back to the old beach charm for guests to enjoy.
