About this property

👍 Charming cottage in Honfleur

La Petite Chaumière is ideally located 3 km from Honfleur, close to all that is famous for this region of Normandy. Honfleur and its old port, Deauville, Trouville and its beaches, the surrounding countryside, gastronomy etc. The house is located in the heart of a property of 4 hectares, largely composed of a hilly meadow occupied by our two horses. Kids usually love to meet them with some apples or carrots to make friends. The house is located away from the small roads nearby, at the end of a tarmac road without exit, and there is no traffic noise, which allows you to enjoy the sounds of nature. It is likely that you will be awakened in the morning by the birds singing. The main advantage of our cottage is the quality of the immediate environment, with the view of an orchard and a meadow or it is not uncommon to see some deer early morning or evening at sunset .
We have two other cottages on the same property, which you can easily find by doing the search "legrandpressoir".
They are suitable for stays of 5 to 8 people.

On s'attendait à une grande intimité, nous nous sommes hélas retrouvés au milieu de 2 autres gîtes et de la maison des propriétaires. La chaumière est joliment décorée et confortable, mais la rénovation est brinquebalante et pas au niveau de prestation souhaité. On sent la location très touristique car pas de "confort" laissé par les précédents locataires. Pas d'accueil pour nous et surtout pas de clés, la maison ne ferme pas.

Je découvre seulement aujourd 'hui votre commentaire. Désolé de ne pas avoir été là pour vous accueillir avec une bonne bouteille de cidre fermier comme je le fais d 'habitude. Ce petit moment partagé aurait probablement adouci votre jugement . Notre niveau de prestation est certes éloigné de ce que l 'on peut trouver dans les établissements de luxe , mais la maison est "joliment décorée et confortable" comme vous le reconnaissez gentiment . Le jardin à l 'extérieur est admiré par tous . Il y a deux jours , j 'ai photographié un chevreuil devant la petite chaumière .Ils viennent au mois de Juin brouter les bourgeons de nos rosiers ( plus de 100 dans la propriété ) voilà le genre d'expérience qui vous aurait peut être plu ?

Petit hébergement de charme au sein d'une belle propriété

Séjour d'une semaine bien reposant au milieu de la campagne normande. Logement conforme à sa description. Beaucoup de charme, très calme et propriétaires très avenants. Les chevaux ont ravi les enfants.

Sehr ansprechend restauriertes und ausgestattetes Ferienhaus für Ruhesuchende

Ein Ferienhaus zum Entspannen, wären doch die Außentüren mit Schloß und Schlüssel versehen! Sehr freundliche, angenehme Vermieter, die uns gerne Hinweise zu Ausflügen und Besonderheiten gaben, uns aber ansonsten ungestört den Urlaub genießen ließen. Leider wohnten auch irgendwelche Tiere unterm Dach und waren dort sehr nachtaktiv. Das Ferienhaus ließ ansonsten keine Wünsche offen. Die Ausstattung ist stilvoll. Wir haben nichts vermißt!

Vraiment un gite très agréable, cosy, refait à neuf par le propriétaire architecte, pas très grand mais très bien agencé, tout propre et bien équipé. On se sent à la campagne, très bon accueil souriant , le propriétaire vous emmène chercher du bois pour faire le feu et donner des carottes aux chevaux, on fait tout de suite la coupure ! En plus, c'est à 5 mn en voiture de Honfleur, un vrai bonheur, on reviendra c'est sûr !

Le gite est aussi chaleureux que l'accueil.

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable avec nos petites filles. Le gîte correspondait à nos attentes, très bien entretenu et situé idéalement dans un cadre reposant. Le propriétaire, très disponible et sympathique, nous a proposé de l'accompagner pour voir ses chevaux et ramasser du bois qui nous a servi pour le poêle à bois dans le gîte, nos petites filles étaient ravies. Nous recommanderions cette location à des amis qui souhaiteraient séjourner dans cette très jolie région. Adresse à retenir !

Newly refurbished gite has all the amenities and is a very comfortable home base for touring Normandy. There are many good restaurants in nearby Honfleur.
