In the most beautiful part of the Tarn Gorges, our house is located on top of the typical village Malene. This detached house, adjoining the house of family holidays, will welcome you for a stay relaxing and discovering the region. Ideally located in a nature preserve, guests can enjoy many activities: starting point of the "Descent of the Tarn Gorges boat with the Bateliers de la Malene," or in a canoe, numerous hiking, swimming, fishing, mountain biking ...
You will also visit many remarkable natural sites, such as Dargilan Cave, Aven Armand, the Bramabiau abyss, the chaos of Montpellier le Vieux and the famous plateau of Larzac, the extraordinary Millau Viaduct is within 45 Kms .

In the village, you will have at your disposal various shops: Bakery, butcher, grocery store, bar-restaurants, pizzeria and benefit from animations during the summer season.

We loved it

Such a lovely welcome from the owners and such warmth and kindness. The cottage is perfect for a couple - very private with a lovely private garden too. Very comfortable bed and we were offered home grown tomatoes and truffle butter. Beautiful little town too with a local shop, bars and restaurants. If you like wonderful scenery along with local river swimming with a low key and friendly vibe - this is for you. We thoroughly recommend it. We would Like to return.

Small appartment in a lovely area

Sadly our stay in La Malene was a bit of a disappointment. The weather was not very good so we left early as the appartment was small and not the most comfortable. It was, however, in a great location for exploring the area and, had the weather been better, we could have taken advantage of the outside space and the lack of space inside would not have mattered. Our hosts were delightful and La Malene is a lovely village.

Un Cadre Exceptionnel et un Gîte Parfait

Mon séjour dans le gîte à La Malène a été tout simplement parfait. Dès mon arrivée, j'ai été charmée par le cadre magnifique. La nature environnante est d'une beauté à couper le souffle, avec des vues imprenables sur les Gorges du Tarn. Le calme et la sérénité qui règnent ici permettent une véritable déconnexion du quotidien. Le gîte, quant à lui, a largement dépassé mes attentes. Il est propre et irréprochable. Les équipements sont modernes et bien entretenus, rendant le séjour encore plus agréable. J'ai particulièrement apprécié les petites attentions laissées par les propriétaires, qui ont manifestement à cœur de rendre l'expérience de leurs hôtes la plus agréable possible. Enfin, l'accueil a été chaleureux et convivial. Les propriétaires se sont montrés disponibles tout au long de mon séjour pour répondre à mes questions et me conseiller sur les activités à faire dans la région. En résumé, mon séjour à La Malène a été une réussite totale. Je recommande vivement ce gîte à tous ceux qui recherchent un lieu paisible, confortable et idéalement situé pour découvrir les merveilles de la région. Je reviendrai avec grand plaisir !

Le gîte est très fonctionnel avec un joli petit extérieur. Très bien situé au bord du Tarn pour partir en randonnée à pied ou faire du Kayak. Le village est pittoresques avec toutes les commodités. Les hôtes Laurence et Didier sont serviables et disponibles. Je recommande.

Un gite très accueillant dans des paysages magnifiques

Le gite est très bien situé, on est au coeur des gorges du Tarn et le village propose toutes les activités que l'on peut faire dans cet endroit magnifique. Les hôtes sont vraiment très sympathiques. Quant au gite lui-même, il est très agréable, surtout avec son jardin privatif. Nous y avons passé d'excellentes vacances, malheureusement trop courtes.
