Picturesque 1940s farm that has been completely restored. One of the best spots in Pierce County with close proximity to Stockholm, Maiden Rock, and Pepin. Relax and take in the views or take a beautiful drive through the countryside to one of the many attractions the area has to offer such as Crystal Cave, Vino in the Valley, A to Z Pizza one of the many wineries, trout fishing in Rush River and of course shopping in Stockholm and Maiden Rock!

Quiet,restful, fun reunion
Very much as described. We liked the rural setting. The updated kitchen and bathrooms were everything we needed. We were 9 women all over the age of seventy so the steps both indoors and out ) posed a challenge for those with limited mobility. We managed with the more challenged using the downstairs but it wasn’t the best situation. It’s a beautifully restored cozy little house and we enjoyed it. Especially liked the large table where everyone could gather. All in all a pleasant experience but not the best choice for anyone with mobility issues.

Repeat visit
This was our second visit to this property. First was in the fall, this time we stayed in winter. It was just as nice as we remembered. Hunkered down with family for a few cozy days, and also got outside for some hikes in the snowy countryside. One detail you'll like: the large dining table, which is perfect not just for mealtime but for gathering for cards, games, and conversation. This is one of our favorite VRBO properties, and the owners are friendly and easy to deal with. Highly recommended!

Farm Magic
I hosted a spiritual retreat for several women at Maggie's farm. The property was the perfect peaceful, high-energy place for all to fully experience mind/body/spirit connection and integration. Maggie provided so much more than accommodations. We arrived to bouquets of flowers, a bottle of wine, a drawer full of coffees and teas. Both baths had oversized fluffy white towels, body wash, shampoo, conditioner. The beds were feather soft, the comforters super cozy. The rooms were beautifully decorated and quiet with room darkening draperies. The water is filtered and delicious out of the refrigerator, and there's a fire ring at the edge of the yard. And Maggie was attentive and replied to my queries. I HIGHLY recommend a stay at this restorative, adorable farm.
