About this property

Zilker Cottage in The Heart of It All!

Located just blocks from Zilker Park (ACL Fest), Barton Springs pool, hike and bike trail, greenbelt and downtown Austin. Our home is located in the perfect spot to enjoy Austin nightlife but also one of the most beloved neighborhoods of old Austin.

We live here and have just recently decided to rent our home. Surrounded by some of Austin's best bars, restaurants, and outdoor activities the 78704 neighborhood is one of the city's most walkable, bikable, truly enjoyable places. You are sure to feel right at home while enjoying all that Austin has to offer.
You will have access to the entire house, with the exception of our master bedroom which will be closed off. There is a living room/dining room, kitchen stocked with coffee and various local treats, a master bath and one half bath. The guest bedroom has a comfortable full bed and has been newly repainted. There is a stackable washer/dryer in the bedroom area. We also have a new air full mattress for a third guest to use in the living room if needed. One pet dog is allowed if well-behaved and does not weigh more than 20 pds. The backyard has a beautiful big oak tree. You can sit on our camp chairs and enjoy the breeze. We have a front yard with hummingbird feeders.

1 bedroom. No more than 3 guests are allowed.

Fantastic location amazing hosts

We thourghly enjoyed our stay! The listing was exactly as promised and the hosts went out of their way in welcoming us to Austin. They left all sorts of treats including some delicious quail sausage. They know the town and have more recommendations than any “best of list” you will find. Always responsive and flexible. The backyard is the perfect spot to relax. Inside you will find everything you might need from a full use kitchen (with perfectly sharp knives) to WiFi to a bumping sonos setup. The key code doors and alarm system are as easy as they come. I hope to make it back soon!
