Three bedroom plus loft upstairs Canal/Bayfront home located in Treasure Island right on the edge of Galveston and Freeport! Boat slip, huge dock, plenty of outdoor seating . The location is everything with the luxury of fishing San Luis Pass without leaving the house! One double kayak onsite that is perfect for a ride in the canal or fishing the shallow parts of the bay. Sammie's Sunset has some of the most beautiful views on the Texas coast!

Another great Mancation !!

We had a great stay Sammy’s Sunset - fishing, kayaking, relaxin, eat too much, and other things! House was great. It was a guys trip but this is a place the wives would love as well. Highly recommend and looking forward to next year!

Amazing place! Hope we can come back!

This was one of the best VRBO‘s we have done. The website is completely accurate. We didn’t want to leave. Already planning a trip here next summer. We caught a bunch of crabs and fish right on their dock. The house is well-maintained. Couldn’t have asked for a better end of summer place.

Memories were made.

Our family had such a memorable time at Keri’s property. From the kayaks to crab traps to fishing off the docks our kids were in their glory. Communication with Keri was easy and she was quick to respond. If you’re looking for a place of relaxation and minutes from the beach you’ve found your spot!

Rude Owner - Great house location

I have rented several homes before and I have never had such a rude person talk to me and my family the way the owner did. The owner of the house was very rude when we first got to the house. My sister arrived a little earlier than I did and asked to come in at 3:30pm (a little earlier than the 4pm listing- a very normal question to ask) and the owner started yelling at her that she is trespassing and that we couldn’t be at the property until 4pm. We didn’t even get out of the car! Than after my 5.5hr car drive to get to the house, with a 5 month old baby, I got a phone call (because I reserved the house) with the owner yelling at me telling me she didn’t feel comfortable with us at her house and maybe we need to find somewhere else. All because my sister asked to go in 30 mins early?!? I had to be super nice and apologetic to something we weren’t even at fault for! Where am I supposed to go after driving almost 6hrs with a 5 month old baby?! Very inappropriate!! Especially since when we did go to the house at 4pm we didn’t have access to the house until 4:50pm since the cleaning crew was not done. We did nothing wrong for her to yell at us. Never again will I rent her house. My family and I rent houses all the time to meet up and have a good time. The owner was so rude she spoiled everyone’s mood the first day. Don’t waste your money with her if you don’t want to get yelled at! With that said the house is in a great spot but not worth the feeling we got from the owner. I have never felt so belittled by someone before, all because my sister arrived 30 mins earlier.

Beautiful house, great location

This is a beautiful house in the best location for view, boating or kayaking, fishing, etc. in the area. Owners are so nice, and we had a great time on our second visit.

Nice property

The property was really nice. Kids enjoyed the fishing and we loved the view. The only issues we had is there was no toilet paper and the fridge had a strong smell of bleach.

This is the One

Not only does the owner communicate better than any other location I've ever been graced to visit, but she truly makes you feel like family. On top of that the location itself is a must if you enjoy anything ocean related. On our visit, we caught many varieties of fish and crabs, enjoyed kayaking down the channel, and made an amazing assortment of new friends who were traveling by. Everyday was another slice of paradise as we awoke to watch the dolphins play on the horizon. Simply the best way to unwind. I truly thought about not leaving such a raving review solely to keep the place our glorious secret. This is the one

Great view and great birdwatching!

Family fishing get away

Beautiful clean house with the perfect location for our family fishing trip! Prior to covid we would visit treasure island 3-4 times per year, usually trying out different homes and the last couple years always missed on the dates to stay here, so we were super happy about this trip and the house didn’t disappoint! Best trip yet! Loved everything about it especially the cleanliness, location and use of the boat slip/lift. Hope to book again soon!

San Luis Pass Finest !

We had a fantastic time this home was very nice and well accommodating. Fishing wasn't too great this time but it may've been from the rain storm . Living space was perfect for our guest of 9. Keri is very nice and attentive to our needs. I definitely will be back!

Treasure island

This property is in a great location, fishing is great, crab traps are a plus , the kayaks were fun, and the beach is nearby. This beach house was very comfortable and accommodating, highly reccomend.

Amazing Sunsets!

Our family had an a wonderful time at Sammie’s Sunset! The location is perfect for fishing, and relaxing. We rented a golf cart for the short trip over to the beach! The house was nicely decorated and the kitchen had everything you need to cook meals. The owners were extremely easy to communicate with and accommodating! We will be staying again!
