We stayed at this cabin as a Christmas get away. We had been needing to take a break for awhile and this cabin was the perfect place to do so. We stayed in the entire time, cooked meals, watched tv, read books and just relaxed. The host was extremely communicative, she was so friendly and so helpful. You can tell they put a lot of thought into their property, and take great care of it. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

Thank you so much, Stephanie! You were wonderful to host and we hope to have you back again soon! Happy new year!
We enjoyed our stay at this quaint beautifully redecorated cabin. We woke up on our second day and there was a light dusting of snow. It was a perfect day to relax in front of the fireplace. We enjoyed the hot tub even while it was raining. It was very serene. The owners were very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. We will be back.

Relaxing but Annoyed
This was my first experience with VRBO. VRBO was actually of NO help. They advertise nationally and take your money. If you call for assistance, they outsource all help to a foreign country. Very difficult to understand and not familiar with the property. In addition, if you want to communicate before renting or even after with the actual owner, you must do so by email. Consequently, there were many emails back and forth to the owner before my stay and during my stay. Primarily, because the owner was not clear on the directions of how to operate the tv, the firepit. In addition, the shower had been in obvious need of repair even before my entrance. It barely trickled out;it was like a bird bath. After two showers and complaining to the owner by emails, she finally obtained a neighbor friend to look at it and fixed it. Again no repair person locally to be called at anytime for a repair. As to the kitchen, it was nicely stacked with most things needed. However, only one small skillet that was very old and difficult to clean after use. I went outside on the deck to grill burgers and the propane knob was either frozen or stuck. So no grilling. Again no local person to come out to assist. Finally....I did finally speak to the husband owner and he was very nice and open for suggestions for future renters. However the wife owner was not. When i gave her suggestions for the future, she went down the list and refuted each suggestion; to say her way was best.

Before this guest's arrival, my husband drove over two hours to personally delivered a new fire pit so that he could enjoy that amenity since he said it was important to him and we wanted to make sure he had that available during his stay. We used that and the grill both nights during our stay with no challenges. He sent texts both Friday and Saturday nights that he could work neither but after my husband called and walked him through how a push ignition works, he texted saying he had figured them out. The kitchen is completely stocked with many dishes, cooking utensils, pans, cookie sheets, two frying pans, two sauce pans, one large pasta pot, an electric skillet, crock pot and more. He texted me during his stay that he was upset that we had not left mustard, ketchup and mayonaise ( we, along with most hosts, do not provide items that parish) or detailed instructions on where to find the pots and pans as well as bath towels. The cabin is a total of 500 square feet and extremely straightforward. It is very well organized and things are stored where one would expect to find them. We have never had a guest have difficulty locating these items before. The TV is ROKU and there is no complicated equipment to use anywhere on the property. The gas firepit and gas grill are standard push ignitions with propane hookups, nothing complicated. The shower head was clogged with some sediment and he messaged us at 7PM on Saturday night to say it needed to be fixed that night. As a non hosted property, we explained that we do not have any staff on site and our regular handyman was out of town over the weekend. But we contacted our neighbor friend who came over the next day by 11AM and had the shower head unclogged within a couple of minutes. Monday night I received a long list from this guest of what he recommended we do to improve, mentioning things that we should invest in that we don't advertise. After fielding no fewer than 5 phone calls and twenty texts, I must admit I was starting to grow a bit weary of the constant complaints and accusations that we knew about the shower and neglected it, which makes zero sense. Unfortunately, some guests really are not cut out for a non hosted situation. We have hosted over 3000 stays over an for eight year period and have really never encountered someone with as many complaints and challenges or such poor problem solving abilities. We just couldn't seem to do anything right for this guest.
This snug cabin was absolutely perfect for a weekend getaway with my husband. The private hot tub, gas fireplace, spacious kitchen, comfy bed and delightful details throughout made this place to come back to.
VERY COXY PLACE, SOROUNDED BY TREES THAT I LOVE , QUIET AND FRENDLY PEOPLE
EVERYTHINGSUPER NICE, BUT IF THEY CAN UPGRADE THE BATHOOM WILL BE THE BEST( THE SHOWER SUPER SMALL AND THE SINK VERY SLOW DRAINING THE WATER ) THAT IS IT ALL THE REST I LOVE IT
Very enjoyable 3 day stay with my partner and two puppies. Lots of close by access to boating, hiking, and shops. Very quiet and peaceful setting. Loved it!💖
Loved the location and quaintness of the little cabin. Beautiful tall trees and scenic view all the way around the property. Only recommendation would be to place a small AC unit somewhere. It felt like a preheated oven when I arrived, so I opened all the windows and doors and turned on the fans to attempt to ventilate
This property is very cute, and quaint. Perfect for a couple to retreat into the mountains for a few days. The kitchen was clean and well stocked with pots, pans, and utensils for cooking. The fire place, heater, and smaller bathroom heating unit kept the place toasty despite the cold evenings. The smart TV was easy to use. The bed was comfortable.
A few things we would recommend to the property managers. It had snowed the weekend before our arrival, and none of it had been cleared. Snow removal from the driveway and steps leading down to the front door would have been nice. We also had to shovel a path from the front door to the jacuzzi ourselves. It wasn’t a huge deal for us, as I grew up in the snow. However I could see that being a bit of a bummer for someone who had never done it.
All in all I’m giving this property a rave review. It’s everything I wanted for my mini-vacation.
My GFs birthday was 11/23, so I got us 2 nights at this cabin. We have stayed at several VRBO cabins in the local mtns before this, and like trying new cabins. Since there was just 2 of us, we were looking for something small and cozy, this one did not disappoint. The street and neighboring cabins were so quiet you could hear the fall leaves drop. The cabin was so decorated so neat and cozy, and the comfy bed drew us into deep slumber both nights. We enjoyed the indoor gas fireplace, as well as the gas firepit on the deck. We stopped at Stater Bros in Lk Arrowhead on our way up, and had all of our meals at the cabin. The kitchen is wonderful, and the two place dinette was romantic. On our full day we drove over to the Will Abell Memorial Trail on the west side of the lake. This is a fairly easy beautiful 2 mile hike with lake views at the top. We had a great time at this cabin. Thank you!!!
Very relaxing time. Such a cozy and quiet mountain cabin. My wife and I decided to get away during this crazy political time and had the best time. Great deck and most comfortable bed we have ever slept in. Dogs loved all the wildlife and their outdoor walks. PERFECT!!!
