Very good place to stay. Just a few miles from Boerne, but very private. The cottage was very clean and perfect for us. We enjoyed our visit with the owners. We will defiantly stay here again.
Although short, my stay was pleasant. This home is tucked away on a beautiful lot. The place was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I will book it again when I have more time.
This place was amazing, quiet and peaceful and lot of nature. The location was exactly what we were looking for, the place was clean and well kept and we would definitely be back if they will have us. Thank you so much Ms. Perez for your hospitality.
Quiet and peaceful the whole time. Check in process was very easy and Lise was available with great communication. Location is right next to the main house but facing a different direction so you feel a bit of privacy. The studio style apartment is clean and provides basic kitchen and restroom necessities. Fireplace/seating is available outside to enjoy. Definitely recommend this cute little place for couples or a small family if you bring extra (small) bedding.
We stayed at this property for a wedding that was happening in Sisterdale. The property is great! Loved getting to see the horses and got to hang out with the kitty greeting committee. While this is next to the main house, the patio is situated where you are secluded and don't' feel like people can see you. It was nice and peaceful. Would definitely stay again!
Thought we were going to have 6 people, but ended in 5 staying. Ended up with a futon mattress on the floor 19 year old on the floor woke up sore. Had to take mattress off sofa-bed because the bar it's uncomfortable daughter and granddaughter we're sore. I would return and bring some better sleeping mattresses. I
I rented this apartment for a mom’s night away to rest and recharge. The apartment is separate from the main house, but attached to the garage. While I was there the garage was not being used so it was private. It’s worth noting that the apartment is in close proximity to the main house, but you would never know anyone was there other than the cars outside of their home. None of the windows face the house and the outdoor sitting area is surrounded by trees. It was wonderfully quiet, close to Boerne but nestled up in the hills so that it feels like you are in the middle of no where. The apartment itself was clean and the bed was comfortable. The WiFi was strong and I was able to use two devices and text with no problem. If I had one complaint, it would be that the air conditioning unit is a tad too loud. Fortunately, for this time of year I was able to have it off for part of my stay. Overall, this vacation rental was exactly what I needed it to be.
I was very pleased with the property in the Boerne Texas area. While it might seem too far off the beaten path, I found the little apartment house delightful. There were never any issues with any of the amenities. I even made friends with the resident cat. Would recommend this location to anyone that enjoys the quiet life. The owner was most gracious and had everything in order before my arrival. Woould definitely stay here again.
We are a family of 6, with children ages 4-17. We had a refreshing getaway from the bustle of city life. There was great communication with the host and they provided an additional mattress so we didn’t have to squeeze onto 2 beds or bring our own mattress. I am in a wheelchair and there was plenty of space to move around inside, though I did need help getting into the guest house (it’s non-issue for me as it was only one step and my family is capable of lifting me in). A couple of nice touches were the fire pit and friendly horse.
The area is beautiful with lots of wildlife. The property needs a little updating but it was fine for a weekend. The only real issue we ran into was the internet connection was not good. It seems the signal comes from the main house which definitely stretches the bandwidth so it drops frequently. The outside sitting area could be updated with newer patio furniture also because it’s very nice to sit outside in the evening. The property has some wonderful potential. Just needs some attention.
