D1 at Grand Caribe Belize is an amazing condo with everything you could possibly need. We were impressed with how clean and well organized the unit was, and we enjoyed our vacation accommodations very much. Great location

The Grand Caribe resort has everything you need and is in a great/central location. The condo is large and has everything for your stay. The staff is very helpful and polite. Room service cleans your room daily and will also launder your clothes when needed. I highly recommend this location if you are staying on San Pedro.

Amazing week in Belize!

We had an amazing week in Belize and highly recommend this condo. The Grand Caribe was clean, safe, had good food options and a great pool! We would stay in this condo again in a heartbeat and have already recommended it to friends! It was stocked with everything needed and the bed was very comfortable. This vacation was amazingly relaxing. The property at Grand Caribe was awesome! The unit was wonderfully outfitted with everything that you need. The walkout to the pool was great and so convenient! Everyone on the resort was incredibly friendly and I honestly have no complaints. Kelly was great to communicate with and made sure to give us plenty of tips and tricks! The unit is well maintained and we are already trying to think of when we can go back!

This property is located in the most perfect place in the resort. Right across the street from the golf cart parking lot. The last thing you wanna do after driving around in a golf cart all day is walk far to your room in sandals. The pool is right out the door. So relaxing. I don’t think you could ask for a better location north of the bridge. Aji is right next door. Best food ever. The condo was beautiful. The housekeeping was incredible. Folded our laundry. The people are so nice. The pool is beautiful. We always could get a lounger. No towel hogging here. Kelly was the best. Made reservations for us at Rain. I would no doubt about it stay here again

Great Condo, Great Resort

Our family of 4 spent a week over the Easter Holiday on Ambergris Caye diving, snorkeling and relaxing. Grand Caribe was the perfect pick. It's on the northern section of the island but not too far up to make it inconvenient to San Pedro. We rented a golf cart directly from the Resort and used it everyday. The staff at Grand Caribe was probably the best we have ever experienced anywhere. I contacted Valadmir shortly after booking the condo and he helped me with dinner reservations and other suggestions. The daily maid service was unobtrusive and impeccable. They washed our clothes when the basket had a few items in it. The walk-out unit on the ground level was perfect with its in and out access during pool days. Definitely spend a day at Secret Beach and dinner at Aqua on Grand Caribe property and Blue Water Grill in San Pedro. If we return to Belize I can't imagine trying another Resort, Grand Caribe was perfect!

5 star for the condo, 1 star for food!

We stayed 3 nights (4 adults). Communication with Kelly the owner, and the property was excellent. The condo is nicely decorated and comfortable, and appointed as listed. First floor walkout to the pool was nice. There is only a small stretch of beach, with sufficient loungers at the pool and beachside. The staff is polite, friendly, and helpful. Daily maid service with laundry included was great. The downside is the truly horrible food at the pool bar (bland, tasteless, overpriced, with watered-down drinks. A $22 USD margarita is ridiculous). We had a birthday dinner at the rooftop restaurant Rain, which doesn't have a view of anything visible after dark. The drinks were watery and the food was average, and too expensive for the quality. A golf cart is essential to get around San Pedro to reach other restaurants and bars. Reserve it early since they are in high demand. Nearby coffee shops and the Truck Stop food stall area was nice. We ate at a Salvadoran restaurant in town with excellent pupusas, and at Caliente restaurant for tacos

convenient location

This condo is located right next to the lobby and very convenient for accessing the main pool, the little Market, and golf cart parking. The condo itself is decorated nicely, the beds are comfortable and we all loved sitting out on the patio and enjoying the views. The housekeeping staff keeps everything immaculate and they will even take your laundry to launder and return it later in the day...we felt very spoiled! The one downside we noticed was the back bedroom can be noisy. Several days a week the staff fire up bug foggers or some kind of power tools as early as 6:30, add that to golf cart traffic and that room is not for light sleepers!

We love to travel and have traveled all over the world. We have 5 grown kids and only one grandchild at this time. We love the area so much we also purchased a Pizza business on the island - PepperOni's, which is a well established location for the past 17 years, even though we have only owned in since 2018.

Why they chose this property

We have been traveling to Belize since 2007 and know this is where we want to retire. We have stayed on all places of the island and kept going back to this Grand Caribe property. So we finally decided it was time to buy here. It is a great place - not too crowded and not so far out. Great place to bring family and friends.

What makes this property unique

Walk out unit just steps from the pool - great for families that need to keep a close eye on their children. Very few steps and a very quiet unit even though it is pretty close to the main entrance.
