Lake Windermere Getaway!

RARE find as this property comes with a boat buoy and a docks to conveniently load your family and gear into the boat! So your watercraft can securely stay in the water for the duration of your stay. Approved by RDEK as STR 29-24! This property is a four-season, immaculately maintained getaway complete with stunning mountain and lake views. A perfect place to create unforgettable memories all year round! The house is located in Windermere, BC and is within minutes of many world renowned ski resorts, 10 world-class golf resorts, 2 natural hot springs, gorgeous hiking trails and the Lake! Come soak in some Relaxation & Sunshine!!

The space:

Our home has an open concept with the large master bedroom and ensuite, 2nd bedroom/den, kitchen and family room on the main level. The walkout basement is complete with three bedrooms, full bathroom and a large family room. This “Lake Getaway” provides both privacy and ample room for family and guests. There is a large deck off the main floor with a BBQ and dining set. The front of the house has a beautiful garden area and there are many mature trees around the almost 1 acre property. The beach is a short 6 minute walk away and the dock is in from May long to September long weekend. The boat buoy is good to use from May 1st until the end of October and then strap your skates on and enjoy the whiteway when the lake freezes in December. The white way is a maintained 32 km skating pathway that connects Windermere to Invermere and loops the lake. You won’t be disappointed in this property and we will do whatever we can to make your trip more enjoyable!

Invermere is a year-round recreation community. With award-winning golf courses including The Springs, Eagle Ranch, Grey Wolf, Copper Pointe Golf, Radium and Windermere Vally.

Local Mountains: Panorama Ski Resort, Fairmont Ski Resort, Kimberley ski resort and Kicking Horse

Beaches: James Chabot Provincial Park, Kinsmen Beach, Windermere Beach

The detached garage is Locked and not accessible. There is plenty of parking on the driveway for multiple cars

One of the closets in the master bedroom is locked and holds personal belongings so it is not accessible.

Keypad entry at front door code will be sent to guests 5 days before check in

We give our guests their space but we can be reached if they have any questions or need help.

Group of 8 stayed 2 nights- the house was spacious, well maintained, and very clean . The kitchen was stocked with multiples of dishes, pots, pans, cutlery etc. Our host answered all my questions immediately - the “ information binder” at the house was informative and much appreciated. (We never did figure out the tv - perhaps that section could be looked at again, however it was not a major issue for us. ) This house is perfect for 2 families or for larger groups such as our book club!

Great location!

Our family had such a great time at this property. There was plenty of room for all of us and lots for everyone to do. The house was very clean and well equipped. The highlight for our family was the private beach and dock as well as the buoy for mooring our boat. It was so nice to just have it there ready to go in the morning without having to pull it in and out of the water every day. Would love to visit this property again!!

Great Summer Vacation Property

We had a great summer vacation staying at this property. The house had everything we needed for a group of 8. Lots of things for the kids to do that close to the property. Thanksgiving family time

We spent 4 nights in October over Thanksgiving weekend and we really liked this home… it was very well stocked and appointed and our grandkids especially liked the fire pit where we roasted hot dogs and made S’mores. There were beds and privacy for everyone. I woke up to Deer munching on the bushes right outside the dining room window while making coffee. That was cool! The owners were easy to contact and communicate with. We might just come back next year👍😁 …..

Our families had a wonderful weekend stay at Joel’s property. There were so many activities for the children to do, no one was ever bored… a favorite was the zip line!!! They could not stop! The property is large so there was room for everyone inside and outside. We held an Easter egg hunt and the children had so much fun exploring the property looking for their eggs. The home was so clean, and so well equipped. Everything we needed was at our disposal. Beds/pillows/couches were all super comfortable. Owners were quick to respond when we needed to check in earlier. Overall, we had a great stay and we look forward to return to this property on our next visit to BC.

This place is where the term “home away from home” comes from! Awesome Family Vacation!

This rental was perfect for our families needs. Great location with easy access to beach and town. The kitchen was stocked with every cookware we needed. There were several outdoor spaces to sit so you could escape the hot sun but remain outside. Lots of cozy beds to choose from. Communication with Joel was so easy and accessible. I would definitely recommend for an extended family or group of friends.

Our family loves Lake Windermere!! We live in Calgary but spend as much time as possible in Windermere. We have a property that is only 4 minutes from the listing location and are available for any questions our guests may have.

Why they chose this property

Amazing lake and mountain views. Very rare that the property comes with a boat buoy so a watercraft can be left in the water for the duration of the stay. There is also a dock to conveniently load guest and gear while the watercraft is secure.
3/4 of an acre, well landscaped includes swings, slide and sandbox.

What makes this property unique

Walking distance to a privately maintained beach that we share with 19 other families. The beach is Andreen beach and is a beautiful short 5 minute walk. We leave our stand up paddle board and kayak on the beach for guest use. There are also beach toys, a sitting area and chairs at the beach for use as well.
