Beautiful family house with pool in the center of a typical village of Portugal

Stay in this house is a unique family experience. It is located in a valley that has been crossed by the oldest Roman road in the country and has absorbed the influences of several generations of travelers who passed through here. Near the house, you can visit a dolmen pre-Roman visitors. The name of the village itself is evidence of commercial activity: Venda Nova, sales, local sales of local products. When other communication networks have been developed, the village became increasingly quiet and is now at the end of a broad valley surrounded by forests where abounds quiet but close to places of great cultural and artistic interest as Conimbriga and Buçaco.

A very memorable stay!

Our group of 8 thoroughly enjoyed our one-night stay. Silvia was very accommodating with our schedule and making certain amenities available, such as the sauna, upon request. It was a pleasure to experience her hospitality and zest for life!

Muito simpåtica a D. Silvia e sua filha. Casa com muita história de vårias geraçÔes que ao ouvir faz nos lembrar nas casas abandonadas dos nossos antepassados mas que ninguém deu continuidade. El alojamiento es perfecto para un grupo amplio de personas, tanto si buscan disfrutar exclusivamente de los servicios de la casa - la piscina es espectacular - como si se toma vomo base para rutas por los alrededores. Tout est facile et convivial dĂšs les premiers Ă©changes via le site internet. Nous avons Ă©tĂ© chaleureusement accueilli dĂšs notre arrivĂ©e; nous y avons rencontrĂ© des personnes agrĂ©ables, serviables, discrĂštes toujours de bons services. La maison est juste super avec beaucoup d'espace oĂč chacun de nous y a trouver sa place (4 adultes 3 ados et 2 enfants) L'extĂ©rieur est top, la piscine, le parc, l'espace barbecue. Tout y est rien ne manque. Nous n'oublierons pas nos merveilleuses vacances dans cet endroit. Je recommanderais cette location sans problĂšme...

What a lovely house this was in an absolutely stunning area. We were a large group with young children and we all had a wonderful time. Silvia was so welcoming. The restaurant up the hill was very nice. Pool is gorgeous. We will definitely be returning. Penacova was stunning. Thankyou Silvia 😊

Ett enormt stort och hÀrligt hus lÄngt ut pÄ landet. Den stora verandan under tak och det svala inomhusklimatet gav skön omvÀxling och bra nattsömn. Silvia Àr en fantastisk vÀrdinna med perfekt fingertoppskÀnsla. Möjligen ska man veta om att huset ligger sÄ att man mÄste ha bil för att kunna handla och utföra Àrenden.

Nous venons de passer une semaine Ă  cinq dans cette grande villa situĂ©e dans une rĂ©gion montagneuse, tranquille mais non isolĂ©e ; le centre ville se trouvant Ă  quelques minutes en voiture. Les propriĂ©taires, Silvia et John, sont des gens extrĂȘmement accueillants, rĂ©actifs et gĂ©nĂ©reux qui ont su tout de suite nous mettre Ă  l'aise et metttre Ă  notre disposition un book de sites Ă  visiter dont la rĂ©gion regorge. Nous recommandons cet endroit Ă  tous ceux qui souhaitent retrouver de l'authenticitĂ© et la chaleur humaine.

Adoramos a nossa estadia nesta casa. A Sílvia foi sempre muito disponível e muito simpåtica. A casa muito limpa, com recantos lindíssimos e com a possibilidade de irmos à horta apanhar alfaces.
