Begin your winter vacation or plan your holidays at this family friendly mountaintop retreat in Granby Ranch. Caribou Cabin, located atop the ski in/ski out neighborhood of Tall Timbers, offers 2600 sqft of luxury and amazing views. Enjoy direct access to the Kicking Horse Lift, the Base Camp community hot tub and year round heated outdoor pool. As well as convenient access to Lake Granby, Grand Lake and Rocky Mountain National Park.
Its location is ideal for mountain biking, golf, hiking, and fishing. All steps away from the cabin.
Caribou Cabin with its tasteful furnishings and decorations has 3 bedrooms, a sleep-in loft, walk out basement and 2nd level deck. It offers 3 full baths as well as a heated ski closet accessible from both the interior and exterior of the home.

The main level features an open floor plan with 2 master bedrooms (1 queen & 1 king) with attached full baths, a fully equipped laundry room, a well stocked kitchen, granite countertops and brand-new stainless-steel appliances.

Enjoy family meals at the large breakfast bar, or dining area with views of the Rocky Mountains.
Get cozy in the living room and warm up in front of the beautiful stone gas fireplace offering a 50” flat screen smart TV.

The sleep-in loft includes a comfortable king size bed as well as its own flat screen TV.

The walk out basement features one private bedroom (1 Twin-over Full Bunk and 1 Full Bed), an attached full bath, and full family room. The family room includes 2 comfortable couches and one additional pull-out queen size couch, with a memory foam mattress, where you can watch your favorites on a 55” smart TV, get your game on with a play station 4 or play your favorite board game at the bistro table while you admire the sunset or watch the storm roll in.

Beautiful Mountain retreat!

This cabin was spacious and tastefully decorated. Its location is 2 houses away from the Kicking Horse ski run. The home faced the mountain with a beautiful view of trees and snow! We had 3 families skiing (5 adults and 7 children) and the place was perfect. The owner reached out multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed, even texting to tell us we could get into the house 2 hours early. Watching our KC Chiefs win the Superbowl was icing on the cake. We will certainly stay here again.

We loved our stay at the cabin! It was perfect for our large family- 3 kids under 3 included. Our only let down was the pool/hot tub. We didn’t realize the hot tub was also a shared community hot tub at the base. The pool is also an outdoor pool- 96 degrees was too cold for our young children. Other than that, the house was fully stocked and super convenient to ski-in ski-out. We would stay again!

We are glad you and your family had a great stay at Caribou Cabin, and we were happy to host you. Although our listing reflects the hot tub and pool as community amenities, we were sorry to hear that the outdoor pool was too cold for the kiddos. We went ahead and contacted management, and they informed us that the outdoor pool and hot tub have been running at their standard temperature of 86 degrees for the outdoor heated pool, and 103 degrees for the hot tub. They do check temperature every two hours, and if it drops by more than two degrees, they put in a service call. Again, we are sorry this impacted your overall experience at Caribou Cabin. Beautiful ski house

We stayed here for a summer wedding and had a fabulous time. The house is enormous, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully decked out with touches like an amazing kitchen full of high-quality gear, multiple hair dryers, comfy porch furniture, etc. Marina is super communicative and helpful. Would recommend to anyone and would love to come back sometime during ski season!

Perfection!

Absolutely perfect location and beautiful home. All amenities were available for our use (crockpot, hair dryer, kitchen gadgets, etc.). Quick responses from the owner on all of our questions. Fifty steps to one of the ski lifts. Warm, homey, comfortable and beautiful. Will definitely consider staying here again.

Beautiful, well equipped ski in ski out at Granby Ranch

We absolutely loved the wonderful Caribou Cabin. We had two families with 10 adults total and we were very comfortable with the space. Everything was perfect. The amenities were very thoughtful. The kitchen was amazing and had everything you need to cook meals. The location was terrific, we could ski down to a lift easily. Blue run skiers can ski back to the house from above. Communication was excellent with the host. We didn’t need to call about anything because the house was so well equipped. The only thing we wished was that we wish we could have stayed longer!!! We would definitely stay again.
